The Study For Yanbian About The Current Situation Of Juvenile Delinquency And It’s Preventive Measures

Juveniles are the flowers of the country, the hope of the nation, the future builders of the country. However, nowadays, juvenile crime, the drug issue and environmental pollution have become the top three global problems. Thus, juvenile crime issue is in an urgent need to be solved. Yanbian, located at the most eastern end of China and next to North Korea, Russia, South Korea and Japan, is a special area of our territory. As for the population structure, it is constituted of multi-nationalities like Han, Korean and Manchu. The thesis is based on juvenile crime data recorded in Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture during last decade from 2005 to 2014 and it has total five chapters.The first introduction chapter mainly introduces the goal, the background and research methods of this study.The second chapter describes the current situation of juvenile crime issue in Yanbian from two aspects:the basic situation of juvenile crime in last ten years and the characteristic as displayed.The third chapter will analyze the causes of juvenile crime in Yanbian area, which can be summarized into following three points:(1) Lack of education; (2) Lack of guardianship;(3)Unhealthy social environment.In the fourth chapter, this thesis will analyze the juvenile justice system in extraterritorial. From the analysis on juvenile justice system in Japan、Ameirica and Taiwan, this thesis finds the unified mechanism of handling juvenile cases is good for the prevention of juvenile delinquency. And this discovery guides us that it is necessary for China to set up a juvenile justice system which has the features of systematic prevention and correction mechanism.The fifth chapter will talk about the prevention measures for juvenile delinquency issue in Yanbian area. Juvenile crime prevention in Yanbian district not only requires theregion-level efforts, but also needs thenation-level support, like enhancing the legislation settings. And the preventive measures include:(1) Strengthening the building of national juvenile justice system by referring mature experience from other countries;(2)Improving the education situation and strengthening the educational system in Yanbian area; (3)Stabilizing the family structure and implementing guardianship;(4)Purifying social environment and reducing incentives for juvenile delinquency.The problem of juvenile crime has greatly drawn the attention of the whole society. Its preventive measures has always been highly concerned by the party and the government. After a deep analysis on the juvenile crime situation in Yanbian area during last ten years and the characteristics and trends it has displayed, this thesis discusses the possible causes that trigger juvenile crime and puts forward suggestions and measures that can help solve and prevent juvenile crime.Solving and preventing juvenile crime is good for national solidarity and the stable development of Yanbian area. And it will help us build Yanbian into a more charming district...
