The special education is an important part of education in China, has a vitalrole for the disabled community culture quality, improving the ability of participation insocial activities. Education information is the new teaching mode with moderninformation technology and traditional teaching organically, in the basic education,compulsory education is very significant effect, effectively solves the problems of thetraditional teaching mode of teaching in the dissemination of information, unidirectionalteaching pertinence is not strong and so on a series of problems. Special teaching objectis disabled, their cognitive ability, information receiving mode and the perfect personhas very big difference, the teaching of information technology applied in specialeducation, will greatly promote the work of special education to raise the level of.At present, Dalian city has11special education schools, the city’s sight, hearing,mental retardation children compulsory education enrollment rate reached90%, theoverall level of the development of special education in Dalian in a relatively leadingposition in the whole province. But according to statistics, the first special-educationschools graduates employment rate is only50%or so, there are still more than half ofgraduates cannot find jobs for the disabled, disabled graduates’ cultural quality,professional skill levels and unit of choose and employ persons position requirements,there is gap between Dalian city special education teaching quality still needs to beimproved to a great extent.In view of this, this article through to Dalian city four special-education schoolsfirst-line teachers’ information technology application status were investigated andanalyzed. Found special-education schools teachers in Dalian now generally exist thefollowing problems: weak information consciousness lack enthusiasm initiative; Thewrong the value orientation of information technology, information technologyapplication ability is low; The school about the present situation of application ofinformation technology teachers do not take the and so on. In order to effectivelypromote special education teachers’ information technology ability, so as to furtherimprove the teaching quality of special-education overall, from strengtheningconsciousness of teachers’ personal information; Rich personal information technologyknowledge and ability; Enhance the practical application ability of informationtechnology, School authorities intensify support provide sufficient condition etc. Putforward the corresponding strategies, hoping to provide teachers and special educationschool has certain operability of reference.
