A Study On The Value Of Mental Health Education In College Students' Career Planning

How to help college students to do their occupation career planning and improvetheir employability has caught so much social attention.This paper mainly suggests to combine the occupation career planning educationwith mental health education of college students. The combination of psychologicalhealth education and occupation career planning education is the most importantfoundation of the suggestion. The combination of the two is beneficial to improve theeffectiveness of mental health education and to make psychological health educationmore specific. It’s also useful to make the subject of psychological health educationobjective. Therefore, in order to make the combination of the two, great attentionmust be paid to improve the importance of psychological health education in theoccupation career planning; in the content, education in psychological healtheducation of college students should be put into the occupation career planning. Atlast, this paper put forward some views and suggestions on how to integrate into themental health education of college students in the occupation career planning.Based on the current survey and analysis about graduate employment, weunderstand the employment situation in recent years. Under the background of socialreality and the times, the article analyzes competition and challenges that studentsface. This article lists the psychological distress and mental problems that studentshave. Then it analyzes the reasons for psychological distress. Finally this article putsforward some countermeasures. The contents of this paper are divided into three parts:The ifrst part is the overview about university students’ mental health educationand occupation career planning. This part mainly expounds the meaning of collegestudents’ mental health education and occupation career planning. Also therelationship between the meaning of university students’ mental health education and occupation career planning as well as the role of mental health education in collegestudents in the occupation career planning is well analyzed.The second part is about the current status and problems of mental health incollege student occupation career planning. An in-depth analysis of the problem ismade. There is three main aspects about this problem. The three aspects includecurrent psychological health status of students in the main occupation career planning,the main psychological obstacles in college students’ job hunting and influentialfactors of mental disorders.The third part concludes the value of psychological health education of collegestudents in their occupation career planning and put forwards some suggestions. Theauthor proposes three ways to solve the problem. Firstly, we should cultivate thecorrect professional values of student; Secondly, ability of self-adjustment ofemployment psychological problems should be improved. Finally, it is essential toguide students to realize self-value in the occupation career planning.
