Abstract:Swimming is not only a set of fitness, bodybuilding, rehabilitation for the integration of sports, but also an important survival skills. In May2013, the state sport general administration, human resources and social security and other five ministries jointly issued the first batch of high risk sports, topped the swimming events. In view of the higher risk of swimming, some domestic colleges and universities in the teaching field conditions, to avoid safety accident, don’t open swimming lesson is also not uncommon. In southwest guizhou, optional sports courses of10colleges and universities in the province, guizhou normal university, only one university opened a swimming lesson options, under the condition of the lack of venues, the school years teaching for the students by means of lease outside swimming pool,good results have been achieved.In this background,the swimming lesson options open situation in guizhou normal, university system, in-depth study is necessary.
