Music education in rural areas is growing to be concerned by researchers, but the present researches are mainly about rural primary and secondary schools, few attentions were paid to the music education in Pre-schools. This study takes music teaching as an entry point, follows the principle of purposive sample and accentuates the explanation and delineation of the research settings, then conducts a study on the situation of music teaching of Kindergarten Y in Huaining Country, Anhui Province. Finally, discuses the influencing factors and puts forward some countermeasures.Based on investigation, the value of music education in kindergarten can be correctly obtained by teachers in Kindergarten Y, and the music education activities are also implemented normally. The characteristics of music education at present involve one-sidedness of determining the teaching objectives, incompleteness of classification structure, lack of the clarity and standard of statements; lack of teaching content scientific and one-sidedness of teaching content type despite of diversity of selecting methods; the accordance with time and place when activities are designed, the clarity of activity process; excellent control of time when teaching, Non-smooth when organizing and implementing in some segments, low quality of communicating with children; ignoring the important effect of self-evaluation despite of focusing on multi-body participation in teaching evaluation.Facing with the problems of music teaching situation in Kindergarten Y, teachers consider that the lack of teachers and teacher training is the most important reason. Based on the understanding of teaching, management and environment in Kindergarten Y, the factors affecting music teaching in teachers, kindergarten, educational administrative departments and parents are obtained as a bystander.From the affecting factors based on analysis, the researcher raises targeted proposals to improve the quality of teaching of Kindergarten Y in teachers, kindergarten, educational administrative departments and parents:teachers should enhance mutual learning and reflect on the teaching in kindergarten; teaching and research group can be set up from reality in Kindergarten Y, recognition and support are strived for from parents and community by the strategy of "bringing in" and "going out"; The local administrative Department of education should increase financial investment, enforce the system of teachers’ admittance strictly and implement teachers on-the-job training to help the rural kindergartens achieve self-management early.
