| The textbooks are the most important part of education. It is based primarilyon the daily teaching between teachers and students. Besides, it is the main basisfor reaching education goals. Besides, textbooks occupy a very importantposition in our primary education even acient or now. The kinds of textbooks arecomplex, while, there is a special kind of texbooks only for women. Theemergence of this kind of textbooks largely play the elementary role ineducation. Furthermore, the contents of the textbooks have some specificmeanings and value orientation.The objective of this study: First of all, based on existing research status,takeing the value orientation as the start of this study. Sencodly, let the Chinesetextbooks for women in the Qing Dynasty set on a scientific system. Then,through sorting and analyzing the value orientaions to make some contributionsto enriching the history of women education. Last but not least, proposing somesolutions to handling with the gender issues in the textbooks.This study consists of five chapters.The first chapter is about the reasons for choosing this title. Besides, itproposes the significances of studing the Chinese textbooks for women. Thoughcarding existing researchs, it defines some concepts such as the primary school inQing Dynasty, Chinese textbooks for women and value orientation. What’s more,it analyzes the textbooks and historical documents. It also use the comparation during the study.The second chapter studies from the social background to clarify this set oftextbooks. That is to say, the social background can influence the compiling oftextbooks to some extent. So it is essential to study it.In the third chapter, it cards the formation process and method of operation ofthe existing analytical framework in order to set the framework of this study.During the process, it is chiefly based on the syllabus. Studing the morality andbehavior is the core part of this study, through analyzing the contents, questions,pictures and characters of the texts we can get the value orientation in this set oftextbook. Besides, it make difinitions to all the items.There are the specific analysis in the fourth chapter.The fifth chapter are the main conclusions to this study. It will find out themost important value orientation in this set of textbooks. Then, it will make anobjective evaluation. At last,it gives some advice and opinions to the unisextextbooks. |
