Since its birth of the concept of self-efficacy, there were more experts in various fields of psychology have attention it, education fields is no exception. Self efficacy is a subjective factor which effects self-learning ability of students and learning motivation and other aspects. Students who have high self-efficacy are more self-confident, with strong motivation, and can achieve better learning results; students who have low self-efficacy are easy to doubt the ability to complete their task and easily to back down when they encounter difficulties, so the study effect also poor.In recent years, the theory and technology of educational virtual communities have been greatly developed, more and more schools and educators began to focus on the learning in educational virtual communities. When students studying in the virtual communities, their perception about own learning ability has a large extent influence to self-confidence and motivation, thereby affecting learning effect. Therefore, on the base of studying the theory and knowledge of self-efficacy, we proposed the concept of " education virtual community of college students self-efficacy ", which namely "when the college students individual learning in the educational virtual community, their determine of the perception about whether they have the ability of accomplish the specific learning objectives, that is, the learning beliefs in environment of educational virtual community ". Then we interpret the relationship between self-efficacy and the learning mode in educational virtual community; and we also interpret the value of college students' self-efficacy in the educational virtual community.This study is base on others study of factors that effect self-efficacy. The author designed a assumed factors model which effect college students' self-efficacy in virtual community of education. We selected the education virtual community "sky room" of Qufu Normal University for example, and selected 96students who signed in "Learning Science and Technology" course to do a questionnaire survey of given factors. On the basis of the survey, we analyzed the factors which affect the college students' self-efficacy in educational virtual community.The study shows that the level of college students' self-efficacy in educational virtual community is higher. Boys' self-efficacy was significantly higher than the girls' self-efficacy; outgoing college students' self-efficacy was significantly higher than introverted students' self-efficacy; the college students whose family residence in the town,there self-efficacy was higher than the family residence in the rural areas. Other factors which significantly affected students' self-efficacy in educational virtual communities including the following aspects:the perception of Individual technical skills and communicate ability; the perception of physical and emotional state; the perception of flexibility and value of the course; the perception of network resources on the network conditions; the perception of others impact on their perception. Finally, based on the above factors in the virtual community of education the author has developed the training strategy of students'self-efficacy in virtual communities to enhance college students' self-efficacy and improve students'learning achievement...
