Sons And Daughters Heroes "prepositional Framework Investigated

The present paper explores the frames of prepositions in the novel Legend of Young Heroes from three dimensions and finds out the explicitness and the lack of Chinese prepositional frames in this discourse and thus provides support in the further development of this field.The paper is made up of six chapters. The first chapter gives the number and type of the prepositions and types, according to which we decide on the number and propotion of Chinese prepositional frames. We conclude that there exit four types and specify their respective types, accordingly.From chapter 2 to chapter 5, each chapter reviews one type of the prepositional frameworks. It, in turns, reviews the 4 main types of prepositional frameworks which are ended by directional words, nominal words, conjunction-verb-prepositions and'pre-auxiliaries'in the book Legend of the Heroes. The paper respectively discussed the syntactic structures and functions, semantic structures and functions of the 4 main types. Also, it describes the basic laws and restrictive mechanism that hidden behind. At the same time, the author tries explaining some special prepositional frameworks that dissociate out of the 4 main types.The final chapter mainly studies the difference in the preposition frame between the novel and that of Chinese prepositional frame and attempts to decide and account for the development and consistence of Chinese prepositional frame.
