Chao Complement The Li Sao

Chao buzhi who lived in Song Dynasty, was one of 4 scholars in Su junto, also a representative of the Su-6-gentleman .His literary creation enjoyed great reputation at that time .The research in his life, poesy, Ci and the family literature has made considerable achievements over the year of his life , but the study on his Fu and the concept in advocating the genre of Sao is gossamer.This paper is stated systematicaly and comprehensively , stressing on academic environment,Chuci concept of Sao genure and its academic achievement .The paper is divided into three chapters.Chapter One is focusing on the external environment factors in the proces of creating the Sao genre.It shows that Chao Buzhi has devoted himself to the creation of the Sao genre and has made great contribution that could not be denied in literary history.And the reason for his great success is due to his personal temper,talent and his background conditions,and also the good environmental and conditional factors from his family and divious friends.Chapter Two is emphasizing to survey Chao Buzhi's Sao genre from his Chuci theory.The main opinions as following:his understanding for Quyuan,a famous poet living in ? Dynasty and his works,especially ;differentiating the relations of poem,Sao and Fu from styles and writings;finding the Qusao creative methods such as'inheriting Shijing,combining style and elegance',insinuating embition by treacherous language'.Chao's concept of Sao not only laid the foundation of Chuci prosperity in Song Dynasty,but also made great contribution to Chuci study in the following generation,what's more,it subtly inflence the Chao family literature and self-creation.Chapter III mainly analyzes Chao's genre Fu achievement in academy.It is mainly illastrated the creative content and features of Chao's genre Fu by analyzing personal excellent works in vertical analysis and comparing with other three scholars and the methods of Qu Yuan and Song Fu in horizontal.Although Chao's Sao style is impacted by times and often traces more subtle things or elucidates purely theoretical text, but he can better mixs methods and techniques both in ancient and modern time , which makes the text tough, extraordinary ,and finally forming a unique feature in Song Fu.This paper is beginning from text and countering against the status , aiming at comprehensively analyzing the Chuci concept and the Sao creativity . It is discussed systematicaly the Zong Sao concept and its forming reasons as long as its content and influence combining with Chao's family surroundings , the special background in that times and its internal personal factors.
