Students of fine arts in recently upgraded regional institutions show a relatively low interest in their major. About this phenomenon, many teachers complained that students are of inferior quality. But in fact our teaching mode accounts mainly for the lack of intrerest on the part of students,as sketching lessons dorminate the teaching process due to teachers at the present stage. The aforesaid facts demonstrates that the reform in sketching teaching is in pressing need. Given this situation,how to breed and cultivate innovative talents is a great issue facing all of us teachers. This writer has conducted quite a few explorations and come to an conclusion like this: a rational and objective understanding of the current conditions of students; transformation of ideas on the part of teachers and substitution of diversified forms for present monotonous sketching courses through innovations based on tradition by a moderate margin; focus on fostering interest in the speciality on the part of students and developing their creativity before it come to the evalution. |
