Connection Of The Mind Through Time And Space

There is some similarity in LuXun and YuHua' s writting. This thesis is divided into 6 parts to analyse it.The preface mainly introduces the present situation of the selected subject, the motive, meaning, purpose of the subject selection and the study method of this thesis.The first chapter excavates LuXun and YuHua' s common ideological origin : Existentialism , from their social background, individual life experiences and acceptance and cognition to Existentialism.The second chapter compares the common theme of their writting: Violence , Loneliness , Death and Redemption, discovered their sameness in the ideological structure. The deep meaning of these themes is also different. LuXun standing on groups, according to enlightening the masses and the redemption done by enlightener to themselves, hopes the masses get up together to resist the spiritual violence of feudal traditional culture, get rid of lonely state and find the value of life in the experience about death;While YuHua takes individual as foothold, with the meticulous deduce to body violence, he not only reveals the absurd life landscape covered by the modern rational order, the survival plight of people, but also indicates violence is a kind of instinctive embodiment of human nature, Loneliness is a fundamental state of spirit, and clears up the existence meaning in the description of death, People are unable to save themselves and have to undertake it with natural life.The third chapter compares the figures series in their works, they are madman series, vagrants series and bystanders series. The madman under LuXun' s pen is the illumination of the old society,but considered as the lunatics because of their cognition to the darkness of society in commonplace people' s eyes, their final result is death or assimilation or becoming the traveler which bears the history and roams about forever;While the madman of YuHua is irrational existence, and the vagrant that flutters without root because of the absurd home and world.There is homogeneity between the bystanders in the meaning that criticise the human's incorrigbility.
