The creation of paintings based on ethnic minorities has always been an indispensable part of Chinese painting.Among them,the Tibetan theme is one of the indispensable elements in the creation of artists who love ethnic groups.The Tibetan Plateau's special high-altitude environment has created unique characteristics,customs,customs,and etiquette.Painting lovers regard the Tibetan area as the most ardent desire to create a sacred place for soul works.This unique place has become an art base for artists to pursue art and inspire them to create outstanding works.The entire paper is mainly divided into five parts,the first is the preface,introduces the research background,research status and research content of this paper.The second part is mainly a review of the visit to the Kumbum Monastery and the Jinyintan grassland in Qinghai for the creation of paintings on Tibetan subjects.In the third part,through the study of Tibetan people' s living environment and character characteristics,the artistic features of paintings in Tibetan areas were summarized.In the fourth part,the author's creative practice of "Tibetan series" was described.The fifth part was mainly the process of painting and thinking after the work is completed.2017 years spring teacher took us to dingxi art practice,Only by learning life,understanding life,strengthening artistic imagination,and developing creative thinking on the basis of daily sketch training,can we create works that belong to ourselves and create works that have a breath of life and works that are consistent with the pace of the times.
