Mencius National Outlook Study

There are 56 ethnic groups in People's Republic of China nowadays for the result of historical and social development, national and national relationship development are also the necessary reasons. Meanwhile we should pay more attention to the interrelated complex national issues along with these ethnic groups. Like the old sayings "Using history for reference can foresee social rise and fall." When we review how our forefathers deal with the national relationship and frontier issues, we could profoundly understand the national issues our country meet nowadays. So this paper choose Mencius Ethnological Viewpoint as study just for assisting us well understand Marxism Ethnological Viewpoint and Marxism Ethnological Theory and Policy of Chinese Communist Party nowadays. In this way we can roundly carry out our country's national policies and consolidate the equal, united, friendly and fraternal national relationship, thereby we can comprehensively make our country uniform, thriving and prosperous.In prolegomenon this paper summarizes ethnological viewpoints, Mencius Ethnological Viewpoint is narrated in the following four parts.The first part is about Mencius lifetime. Mencius lifetime includes his childhood, youth and old age, then this paper introduces Mencius birthplace which involving the history, social, geographical and natural conditions, because these factors played important role in Mencius growth, education and thoughts. There is one person we can not neglect —Mencius mother. The three short stories abouther education to Mencius deeply affected Mencius aftertime. In the last of this part is mainly about Mencius works — 《7 Cantos of Mencius 》 and 《Unofficial Work of Mencius》 .The second part is about "source" and "stream" of Mencius Ethnological Viewpoint. Mencius ethnological viewpoint derived from his former and the famous ideologist —Confucius thoughts. If we explore the essence or the "source" of Mencius ethnological viewpoint, we should research the relationship of society, economy and politics etc. of the age —The State of Warring when Mencius was in. Besides these, we also should pay attention to the "stream", that is to say the influence of Mencius ethnological viewpoint, which existed in lots of historical works. Basing on these analysis, we can get an objective estimation of Mencius ethnological viewpoint.The third part is about the main content of Mencius Ethnological Viewpoint. This part combines Mencius main thoughts in politics, economies, moralities and education with Mencius Ethnological Viewpoint and analyses one by one.The last part is the estimate of Mencius Ethnological Viewpoint, including its merits and demerits narrating in academic and social aspects. If we want to get an objective estimation of Mencius ethnological viewpoint, we should critically inherit our traditional historical culture.
