"An Ethnological Research On Incantation And Medicine":Based On Ritual Tredtment Of Tujia Witchcraft In Shuangping Village

Medicine as a culture involves understanding,diagnosing,and treating the causes of disease.Different cultural backgrounds will result in different disease cognition an d medical methods.As a kind of folk traditional medicine,Shuangping Village Tujia r itual treatment is an important part of local traditional culture and one of the manifesta tions of cultural diversity.Therefore,we study it and understand the traditional culture of Tujia nationality and the cultural diversity.Sexuality has great theoretical and pract ical significance.In the Shuangping Village of the Tujia Village,Tema is a local wizard.They areengaged in normal production and life,and will help people“resolve evil”and cure di seases.So far,the Tema ritual medical activities are still very active in the Tujia villag es of Xiangxi."Two solutions of the gods and herbs" is a typical feature of the Tema ri tual treatment activities,and is closely related to the local cultural system,the naturalenvironment,medical resources,and social changes.By understanding the folk medici ne of "the two solutions of the god medicine",you can understand the disease beliefsand cultural logic of the local people.The early "two solutions of divine medicine" refers to the practice of Tema and t he treatment of herbal medicine.With the changes of society,the current "deification"is still the practice of Tema,and the "medicine solution" is mainly for going to the hos pital to take medicine.Sometimes referred to as Tamar’s herbs.Therefore,the author b elieves that the folk medical behavior of "the two solutions of the gods and herbs"sho uld be placed in a specific historical period and a specific cultural system to understan d and understand.At the same time,the analysis of its therapeutic effects must be base d on the local people’s point of view.The Tema ritual treatment activities are rational i n their own cultural context and are the logical result of local culture and belief.The thesis consists of six parts.The introduction part discusses the meaning of th e topic,relevant research trends and research ideas and methods at home and abroad.The first chapter introduces the basic overview of Shuangping Village;the second cha pter discusses the executor as the treatment ritual-Tema and its behavior;the third ch apter discusses the local disease beliefs from the aspects of disease,body and soul,an d then analyzes the principle of Tema exorcism;the fourth chapter introduces the cont ent and process of Tema treatment ritual and the people The degree of recognition of t his folk treatment ritual;the conclusion part theoretically discusses and enhances the r esearch questions and deepens the theme.
