| With the increasing frequency of international exchange and acceleration of the course of reform, and also with the initiation of the strategy of development of China's western area, there is a great demand for multiplicative talents of foreign language, and much importance is attached on English language teaching.Nowadays, fundamental education in Inner Mongolia region is beginning to shift from bilingual teaching (Mongolia, Chinese)to trilingual teaching (Mongolian, Chinese, English), therefore, the quality of English teaching among trilingual teaching lies on the cultural quality and professional levels of Mongolian English teaching staff, and consequently, Institutions of higher learning should shoulder the important task of training English teachers of Mongolian nationalities for primary and secondary national education.The study on English teaching problem of "Mongolian class beginning with ABC" seems to be more and more important in English language department for teacher-training of colleges and universities in Inner Mongolia region, In this article, teaching countermeasures and reform suggestion are put forward by taking into consideration the particularity of English teaching of Mongolian class of colleges and universities in Inner Mongolia region. This article is mainly composed of four parts. (1) Introduction to the social background of Inner Mongolian region, Mongolian class for teacher-training of English department of colleges and Universities, and community environment around it; deification of the concepts as "teaching in Mongolian language", "class for Mongolian students" and "teaching in Mongolian language for teacher-training; analysis of the present situation, existing problems and significance of English language teaching and research in Mongolian class of English department in colleges and universals". (2) Analysis and discussion of Chineselanguage levels of Mongolian teachers and students, and also the important prerequisite of English teaching attitude of trilingual teaching in view of the particularity of Mongolian class of English department for teacher-training. (3) Comparison and analysis of advantages and disadvantages of teaching pattern of Mongolian and Chinese language for Mongolian class beginning with ABC, on the fact that Mongolian teachers and students have a good command of Chinese and they also have active attitude towards trilingual teaching through investigating and talking.This article lays stress on the introduction, analysis and discussion of the attitude towards Chinese language, Chinese expression, Chinese language learning, the motive and attitude of English language learning, way of cognition, learning strategy of English language learning and attitude of Mongolian teachers and students towards Chinese-assisted English teaching; And analyzes the different affects on language learners of the functions of teaching Mongolian students in Chinese and English; learns about and knows well the attitude of teachers and students towards trilingual teaching, comprehensive levels of Chinese language and the understanding of all the particularity of teaching English to Mongolian students; And also analyzes the students psychological factors and motives of learning in order to find the teaching pattern of specialty English suitable to Mongolian students beginning with ABC in specialty English teaching in colleges and Universities and put forward the following suggestion: (l)formulation of the unified teaching program of specialty English suitable to the actual situation of Mongolian students. (2) compilation of English teaching material suitable to Mongolian students' practical levels and training demand, (3) enhancement of the training of Mongolian teaching staff.
