Research On Methods Of Mongolian Public English Teaching In College For Beginners

There have been some investigation and studies about the Mongolian public English teaching in college, while the deeper exploration is very little and the studies and attention about how to teach is inadequate. This paper starts from language teaching, psychology, modern English teaching, thought and language, minority education and the situation of domestic English teaching to try to make some deeper discusses and studies on this subject. It takes the actual teaching practice as basis and extracts inspiration from it so as to find ways to motivate the Mongolian students to learn English and improve the teaching efficiency. I hope that the result of this paper can give much help to the Mongolian public English teaching in college.This paper consists of three parts. Part one is the introduction which deals with the academic values and purposes of this paper through the analysis of the current situation of Mongolian public English teaching in college and the latest trends of English teaching in and out of China; reviews and summarizes the efforts made by the predecessors from the aspects of the minority education and English teaching; shows my study approaches of this essay. In the next part, the author starts about from learning transfer, language transfer, thought and language and foreign language teaching to inquire into the teaching methods of Mongolian public English teaching in college. The author analyzes and summarizes the characteristics of Mongolian and Mongolian students and discusses their influences to English teaching. At the end, the author concludes the teaching methods mentioned in his paper and gives his teaching methods in detail and shows their feasibility and effects by his teaching practice.
