Shu Mu Lu, a famous family name in the Man Minority, and the research on Shu Mu Lu's clan is an important part of Man studies. At present, however, the research data for Shu Mu Lu's clan is almost an academic blank, although many historical data have kept some account of the Shu Mu Lu's, still not yet published any monographs by scholars or experts on this study. It still needs to be completed in the long term with the efforts of philologists. On the basis of the accounts in such works as "Manchu Eight Banners in the clan through spectrum", "History of Qing Dynasty", "Qing Tales", "Monument Biography", "Mr. Fang Wangxi's Collection", "Xiao Ting Miscellany" and others, we collected and organized a mount of special historical data of the members of the Shu Mu Lu's clan in detail, which explained the surname origin, representative celebrities and biography information of the clan with great detail to make deep exploration in the great contribution it had done for the whole history.This thesis begins with an overview of the origin and development the Shu Mu Lu's clan, explaining specifically the process of Shu Mu Lu's localization with Han People like other Man clans. During the process, two aspects are especially representative: one is the surname localization; the other is the custom transformation from advocating militarism to literal arts. The historical data of the characters of martial arts and literal arts will be introduced respectively, followed by biography information of the historical figures which will fall into two sorts: prominent celebrities listed in the"Qing Tales" and "History of Qing Dynasty", and other historical figures listed in the "Eight Banners Manchu clan through spectrum" and other works.
