About "quality" and education, as well as the own "quality" of education, education and even the whole society has been in unswervingly discussion. Along with the education reform advancement, especially "constructing a harmonious society" concept thorough popular feeling, the basic task of education which we know finally had "people-oriented" regression. The purpose of education is to promote the development of human beings. Educationist Mr. Cai Yuanpei said, "To have good society, we should have good individuals. If we want to have good individuals, we must have good education." Former vice minister of ministry of education Wei Yu also said,"Education should let young children have sound personality and good mood ability". Therefore, our education can not only emphasize the logic thinking skills, but also notice the improvement of pedagogue's overall quality and positive attitude towards life and good communication skills.For high school students are concerned, due to its special physical and mental characteristics, self awareness development, independent consciousness enhancement, and the learning pressure nowadays, a lot of problems appeared in the field of the high school student's mood. The reasons of these problems are because the affects of emotional intelligence, besides some physiological and mental characteristics. The empirical results show that emotional intelligence will affect students' psychological health, academic achievements and interpersonal relations. So, in order to carry out quality education comprehensively, high school students'emotional intelligence should be cultivated and it has an important practical significance.This paper is on the topic of emotional intelligence, taking Zibo Experimental High School as an example to do a further research. The methods such as document study, questionnaire investigation, and individual interview are adopted. From the background of the proposition, I analysis the definition of emotional intelligence and the problems in this field among current high school students, and make a more specific in-depth analysis of the causes. Therefore, some advices are given about the high school students of emotional intelligence training. I hope it could play a part in other high school's emotional intelligence training.This paper is divided into four parts: the first part is introductory. It analysis the background that emotional intelligence was cultivated, define the meaning of emotional intelligence and do some explanation related to this theory. The second part: Do some research about the problems of emotional intelligence training by doing questionnaire investigation in high school students, interviewing some teachers and school leaders about it. The third part mainly analysis the reasons of emotional intelligence training of high school students, which includes the reasons from educational system, school training target, education philosophy of the school. It also includes the effects of social culture and other negative factors, and high school students'lack of emotional intelligence training spontaneity. The fourth part: Raise the proposal. According to the problems of the high school students we found in the questionnaire and interviews analysis, a proposal is raised. Strengthen the consciousness of high school students to develop emotional intelligence; Strengthen practice activities to improve emotional intelligence; Complete the teachers'evaluation system,teachers should improve knowledge and ability about this period; Strengthen the theory study,pay attention to actual activities.
