Wash The Treatment Of Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy. Tongbi Soup Exploratory Study

Objective:To observe the effects of Tongbi Tang, wash the treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathy (DPN) (blood deficiency cold coagulation card) in patients with clinical symptoms and improvements in the nerve physiological indicators.Methods:Randomized controlled group, the establishment of peripheral nerve conduction velocity and clinical symptoms evaluation score two goals, for superior effectiveness and placebo controlled study. Make 60 patients who meet the standard set of the diagnostic criteria of diabetic peripheral neuropathy and syndrome differentiation type of cold coagulation for the blood deficiency with blood glucose control in the case of random selected test compliance. A group (30 cases):oral A cobalt ammonium capsules+wash with warm water group; B group (30 cases):Oral A cobalt ammonium capsules+Wash with Tongbi Tang group, by soaking, washing outside the lesion (hands or feet), water temperature maintained at about 35℃-40℃,30 minutes, once a day, two weeks for a course, test period of two courses. Measureing nerve conduction velocity and symptom score before and after testing by paired t test or chi-square test for comparison. At the same time detecting and recording routine, urine routine, blood glucose, liver function and renal function, ECG and adverse events before and after treatment.Results:After the treatment, there are 5 patients in all of two groups did not complete the test,55 patients actually completed the study,27 cases in treatment group and 28 cases in control group. PP analysis:①clinical comprehensive therapeutic effect:The total effective rate was 74.1%,57.1% in the control group. The end of treatment, the treatment group and control group had no significant difference (P>0.05).②Traditional Chinese Medicine Symptom effect:the treatment group was 74.1%,46.4% in control group. The end of treatment, the effect of the treatment group was better than the control group (P<0.05).③The improvement of Traditional Chinese Medicine Symptom:the end of treatment, the treatment group limb numbness, cold syndrome, compared with the control group improved significantly (P <0.05, P<0.001)④Syndrome points:the end of treatment, treatment group and control group were compared before and after the points difference was significant difference (P<0.05).⑤Nerve conduction velocity:the treatment group sensory nerve, median nerve conduction velocity improved significantly compared with before treatment, was statistically significant (P<0.001); control sensory nerve conduction velocity was significantly improved (P<0.05). The median sensory nerve, peroneal motor nerve conduction velocity improved after treatment was not significant (P> 0.05). ITT and PP analysis of the same conclusions. SS analysis:⑥Safety evaluation:the blood test, urine routine, liver function and renal function, ECG of both group revealed no significant difference (P> 0.05). All patients without adverse events during treatment.Conclusion:Tongbi Tang for DPN Washing can improve clinical symptoms, were relieved of local discomfort at the same time allow some restoration of nerve conduction velocity. Tongbi Tang in Washing found no adverse reactions.
