Objective: Guided by the theory of "toxic damage of peripheral nerve",diqitongbi decoction combined with abdominal acupuncture was used to treat patients with diabetic peripheral neuropathy(qi-yin deficiency and complex vein bibi syndrome),and its clinical efficacy and safety were observed to provide a new method and idea for the clinical treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathy. Methods: Sixty patients who met the diagnostic criteria of diabetic peripheral neuropathy(qi-yin deficiency and collateral obstruction syndrome)were randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group of 30 cases each.Under the premise of basic western medical treatment, the treatment group was given Diqi Tongbi Decoction was treated with oral acupuncture combined with abdominal acupuncture. The control group was given mecobalamin tablets orally.Taking 4 weeks as a course of treatment, the total scores of TCM syndromes, tuning fork vibration sensation,10 g nylon silk tactile sensation, and sensory threshold measurement were recorded before and after the treatment for 3 courses.Analyze and draw conclusions. Results: 1.Efficacy of TCM syndromes: The total effective rate of TCM syndromes in the treatment group was 90.00%,and that in the control group was 73.33%;2.Total points of TCM syndromes: TCM syndromes before and after treatment in the two groups The total scores were significantly decreased(P<0.01),and the treatment group was better than the control group(P<0.01).3.Individual points of TCM: The scores of the individual TCM syndromes of the treatment group were significantly different from those before treatment(p?0.01);In comparison, the treatment group was equivalent to the control group in improving fatigue and fatigue(P?0.05);4.Compared to the 10 g nylon wire tactile measurement and tuning fork vibration sense measurement, the treatment group was better than the control group(P<0.05)5.Comparative analysis of CPT measurement before and after treatment in the two groups of patients, there was a significant difference in the comparison treatment group within the group(P<0.05),and the improvement in theleft median nerve and right median nerve was not significant after the treatment in the control group(P> 0.05);There was a significant difference between the left gastrocnemius nerve and the right gastrocnemius nerve between groups(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between the left median nerve and the right median nerve(P?0.05);6.In terms of glucose metabolism: the treatment group was better than the control group in improving 2hPG(P <0.05),and the improvement of FPG and HbAlc was not different from the control group(P> 0.05);7.Safety: No adverse reactions were seen in both groups. Conclusion:Diqi Tongbi Decoction combined with abdominal acupuncture for diabetic peripheral neuropathy(qi and yin deficiency, collateral obstruction syndrome)has a definite curative effect, can significantly improve the clinical symptoms and signs of patients, and has good safety during treatment, which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
