Medicine Cough Oral Liquid Pharmacodynamic Pilot Study

Purpose:To study the pharmacodynamics of SouNing Oral Solution.Material and method:Material:â‘ Drugs and reagents SouNing Oral Solution,Lian Chuanbei Pipagao honey,Hydrocortisone,Paracetamol,Citrate,Anhydrous sodium sulfite,oil of vitriol,Phenol red,Acetylcholine chloride,Histamine phosphate,Ovalbumin,Carrageenan,microzyme.â‘¡Animal beastie creature:Kunming mice,Wistar rats,White guinea pigs。Method:Some experiments,including cough induced by citric acid in guinea pigs,cough induced by SO₂ in mice,expectorant tests by phenol red in mice,asthma induced by histamine and acetylcholine in guinea pigs,asthma induced by ovalbumin in guinea pig,cotton granuloma tests in rats,foot swelling induced by injection of vegetable glue in rats and fever induced by yeast in rats.Results:1.SouNing Oral Solution exhibited significant effects in the tests of cough induced by citric acid,cough induced by SO₂.2.SouNing Oral Solution exhibited significant effects expectorant tests by phenol red.3.SouNing Oral Solution exhibited significant effects in the tests of asthma induced by histamine and acetylcholine,asthma induced by ovalbumin.4.SouNing Oral Solution showed certain activities in the tests of cotton granuloma,foot swelling induced by injection of vegetable glue.5.SouNing Oral Solution also showed certain activities in the tests of fever induced by yeast.Conclusion:1.The study suggests that SouNing Oral Solution showed the beneficial effects of antitussive.2.The study suggests that SouNing Oral Solution showed the beneficial effects of antiasthmatic. 3.The study suggests that SouNing Oral Solution showed the beneficial effects of eliminating phlegm.4.The study suggests that SouNing Oral Solution showed the beneficial effects of anti-inflammatory.5.The study suggests that SouNing Oral Solution showed the beneficial effects of relieve fever.
