As a new instructional method,problem-based learning(PBL) emphasis that learning should be placed in a complex and meaningful situation to allow learners to solve real problems through cooperation and group discussion,so as to help learners to master the scientific knowledge behind the real questions,enhance their problem-solving skills,and cultivate their self-learning and lifelong learning awareness.PBL is adopted by a growing number of institutions,but there is no ideal way to assess students.Without corresponding assessment methods,it will be difficult to achieve educational goals.Considering the status and requirements of student assessment in PBL,the author believes:apart from the assessment of knowledge,we should lay even more emphasis on the assessment of attitude and ability,pay more attention to the process and performance;should make full use of the advantage of network,to build the corresponding assessment system.Taking the related research in this field both at home and abroad as reference, combining with the implementation of PBL in Shanghai Medical College Fudan University,this article offers some tries in building web-based student assessment system for PBL on the theoretical and practical aspects.This article is divided into three parts,a total of nine chapters:The first part is the theoretical support and tries to explore the educational evaluation and evaluation of medical education,online educational evaluation and evaluation of traditional education,the general student assessment and assessment of students in PBL,as well as the theoretical foundation of web-based student assessment system for PBL;The second part is the system building,on the basis of the review of domestic and international student assessment in PBL,according to the implementation of PBL in Shanghai Medical College Fudan University,we formulate the student assessment plan and build the web-based student assessment system for PBL through technical support;The third part is the analysis of this assessment system,including assessment data analysis,the evaluation of the assessment system and the further study design of adding the e-portfolio to this assessment system.
