The recently medical education reform and newly technology development has brought fresh culture of learning, new learning style and talent demands with it: toward the ability and participatory learning. The new tropism deems that to decide what the students has learned, to what extent and what are still lacked of, problem solving is the most convenient and manipulable testing measure. Learning to solve problems, however, ask for the opportunities of participating, rather than merely knowledge of it. Futuremore, it is neccessory to provide appropriate scanfoldings to facilitate and support the participatory solving processes. The research on designing of problem-based learning environments (PBLEs) for medical education takes the promoting the development of the students, especially the social-cultural aspect ones as its macro-background, and that the utilizing of beneficial factors rouding the medical students to constructe supporting PBLEs for them, where their advanced knowledge, ability and thinking can get grown, as its researching focus.The present research is associated with the newly investigating evolve on learning environment designing, and based on both implementing actuality of medical PBLEs designing and the requirements of medical teachers and students (knowing from surveys). With multi-researching methods like leteratural analysis, survey, observing and interview, this research has expanded itself in two dimensions of both theory and practice, and also constructed a designing framework for medical PBLEs, which has been verified and revised by the instructional practices.Via the theory conclusion and practice exploration, the research of medical PBLEs designing has made the serious absent of this issue up somewhat, and change the fact that the theory basis of existing medical PBLEs are too much weak, for a certain extent. As for the new designing framework, technology, especially informational technology are reexplained and reorientated. Besides, the research of medical PBLEs designing is freshly afforded with the practical wisdom of medical teachers and wonderful ideas of medical students emerging from the instructional fields; the perfect research outcome, in verse, seems to bridge the pratical wisdom and wisdom practice, to expand an evolving, affording, interacting and opening space for the learning and developing of the students.
