Based On Impact Factors Of The Diamond Model Of Private Health Care Industry Competitive Analysis

Nowadays, the contradiction between supplying and requiring of health care service in China is being much worse. Specially, the present health care service system, contents, structure, quality and sphere is not only inadaptable for the increasing number of demands, but also inadaptable for the changing of demanding structure, disease mode and medical care insurance system. The improper and imbalance allocation of health care resources is making new turn of innovation on health care system inevitable. In the background of this, private health care industry emerged as a new force, accumulating abundant capital and then develops fast. It supplies diversified health care service to market, as for it becomes an important department of our nation's medical and health services.In this paper, firstly, it defines private health care industry and introduces its development history. And then with aid of Michael Porter Diamond Model's analytical framework, it studied on our country's private health care industry. In order to research closely, based on the other's research results, the paper makes an improvement based on original model which merged the two external variables including opportunity and government to one: government and makes it internal. Thus the paper analyses the private health care industry competitiveness from five aspects and they are inputs, demand, industries related or supporting industries, the stratagem, structure of enterprises and the government. In the five facts, relatively speaking, sharply increasing domestic demand and competitive advantage from enterprises makes a certain degree of industry competitive advantage. However, lacking of professional human resource and the hysteric related industry market could not demonstrate any preponderance and make the whole system could not work very well which lead to a low level in competitiveness. The government plays an essential role because of it can be a threat for it's discriminated upon private health care industry or it can be a benefit for the new turn of innovation it brings. Finally, the paper summarizes four disadvantages which restrict the development of private health care industry and proposes the developmental suggestions.
