Objective:To privide new ideas of diagnosis and treatment for breast cancer patients and the molecular typing, the relationship between androgen receptor(AR)expression and five molecular markers(estrogen receptor(ER),progesterone receptor(PR),human epidermal growth factor receptor-2(HER2),Ki67 and epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR))was investigated in this study. Methods:A total of 180 breast cancer patients who underwent surgical treatment in Changzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2020 to December 2021 were screened, and 120 patients were finally enrolled according to the screening criteria of this study. The age, menstrual status, tumour diameter, lymph node status, pathological type and histological grade of the cases were collected. The immunohistochemistry was applied to detect the expression of AR,ER,PR,HER2,Ki67 and EGFR,the pathological diagnosis was made by two experienced pathologists in our hospital. The positive rates of AR,ER,PR,HER2,Ki67 and EGFR,and the relationship between AR,other five molecular markers and clinicopathological features of breast cancer patients were analyzed. All statistical analyses were performed by SPSS 23.0,and p<0.05 was considered statistically significant.Results:1.General data and pathological characteristics of patients: non-special type invasive carcinoma(110 cases,91.67%),invasive lobular carcinoma(10 cases,8.33%),histological grade I/II(84 cases,70.00%),histological grade III(36cases,30.00%).The positive rates of AR,ER,PR,HER2 and EGFR were respectively 71.67%,60.00%,78.33%,62.83% and 52.50%,and the high expression rate of Ki67 was 75.00%.In the matter of the molecular type,Luminal A type was 12 cases(10.00%),Luminal B type was 82 cases(68.33%),HER2 hyperphenotype was 21 case(17.5%),and triple netagive breast cancer was 5 cases(4.17%).2.There were no significant differences(p>0.05)between AR positive rate and clinicopathological features such as age(p=0.869),menstrual status(p=0.730),tumor diameter(p=0.725),lymph node status(p=0.051),HER2(p=0.122)and EGFR(p=0.092).However,the statistical differences(p<0.05)of AR positive rate exsisted in pathological type(p=0.038),histological grade(p=0.006),molecular type(p=0.028),ER(p=0.001),PR(p=0.023)and Ki67(p=0.002).AR was positive more common in Luminal B type, and the patients more often showed the positive expressions of ER,PR and Ki67.3.The correlation between AR and the five molecular markers: Spearman correlation analysis showed the correlation between AR and ER(r=0.345),PR(r=0.308)and Ki67(r=-0.403)expression in breast cancer patients. Conclusion:AR expression was highly correlated with pathological type, histologcal grade and the expression of three molecular markers(ER,PR,Ki67)in breast cancer patients. The further correlation analysis comfirmed that AR expression had positive correlation with ER and PR expression, and strongly negative correlation with Ki67 expression.AR was mainly expressed in Luminal B type breast cancer patients. And AR expression was not correlated with HER2 and EGFR expression.
