Clinical Observation Of The The Ulcer Oil Prevention And Treatment Of Acute Radiation Dermatitis

This dissertation is composed of two parts:the summary of documents and a clinic research.Part one:the summary of documentsThe part reviewes the advances in basic research and clinical study in radiodermatitis in the world.It concludes the advances in basic research and the clinical treatment in western medicine.It also concludes the cognition,the term and treatment of the radiodermatitis in the traditional Chinese medicine.Recently we are still in the first stage in the cognition and treatment of radiodermatitis,no matter in the western medicine or in the traditional Chinese medicine.No effective prevention and cure of radiodermatitis have been used,so we need more medicine and manners.The traditional Chinese medicine in this term will be expected.Part two:clinical studyObjective:To study the effects of ulcer oil in prevention and treatment of the malignant tumor patients who used radiotherapy and had acute radiodermatitis.Methods:40 cases were randomized into two groups.There were 20 cases in observation group which treated by ulcer oil combined with radiotherapy for one course.And there were 20 cases in control group which treated by radiotherapy only.They were both given 50～70Gy radiotherapy.The all sides of radiodermatitis were recorded and compared every week.Results:The control group appeared more second level of skin lesions than that of the observation group.Obvious erythema and patchy moist dermatitis of the patients in the observation group were significantly lighter.Skin reaction occurred in the observation group later than that in the control group.When the irradiation was 40 Gy,there were 7 cases of skin injury(35%) in the observation group,17 cases in the control group(85%).The differences are very significant(P <0.001).Conclusion:The ulcer oil can improve the skin tolerated radiation of radiotherapy patients and reduce the extent of radiodermatitis,delay time of the injury occurred.
