Objective: To observe the effect in treating Migraine of Liver-Yang Hyperactivity Syndrome with Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine .Methods: 90 patients were randomly divided into two groups.:45 cases of the treatment group (Acupuncture and Chinese medicine Treatment) and 45 cases of the control group (Chinese medicine Treatment). Treatment methods are calm the liver and suppress yang,stopping endogenous wind and alleviate pain. According《Zhen Jiu Xue》[1]to electing Points.Fengchi,Shuaigu,Taixi,Taichong (Bilateral Point Selection),Baihui,Sishenchong. The treatment is given once daily.and l0 days constitute a therapeutic course .Prescriptions; Gastrodia and Uncaria Decoction , Chinese medicine are decocted in water for oral dose, 3 times/day with Oral and l0 days constitute a therapeutic course. During the treatment period prohibit eating irritation food and other drugs. The control group used traditional Chinese medicine with the same method of treatment group.After two courses, observe the changes of clinical symptoms and treatment effect .Result: The total effective rates in treatment group and control group are 97.78% and 86.67% respectively,indicating significant difference(P<0.05)by statistical management,the treatment effects in Treatment Group is better than that in Control Group.Conclusion:The methods in treating migraine with acupuncture and Chinese medicine has better clinical efficacy, it is worth further promotion.
