ObjectiveIn this study,we observed the clinical effect of Acupoint Application combined with Tianma Gouteng Decoction on migraine of hyperactivity of liver Yang type, and discussed whether the combination of Acupoint Application of traditional Chinese medicine can further improve the clinical effect of migraine patients, shorten the medication time, alleviate the pain for migraine patients as soon as possible, and improve patients' quality of life.Meanwhile,it can provide reference for the treatment of migraine by internal and external combination of traditional Chinese medicine, and further enrich the clinical treatment plan of migraine.MethodsIn this study,a total of 61 patients with migraine of hyperactivity of liver Yang were collected. They were randomly divided into experimental group and control group according to the random number table.30 cases in the experimental group were treated with Tianma Gouteng Decoction and Acupoint Application of traditional Chinese medicine.Tianma Gouteng drink 1 per day, morning and evening.Taichong and Yongquan were selected for acupoint application of traditional Chinese medicine, once a day for 2 hours.31 cases in the control group were only treated with Tianma Gouteng Decoction, the same as that in the experimental group, and 1 case fell off due to allergic reaction during the treatment. The treatment time of both groups was 28 days.To observe and compare the improvement of headache score and TCM syndrome score of migraine patients before and after treatment.ResultsBaseline data:60 migraine patients were included in the study,30 in the experimental group and 30 in the control group. In the experimental group, there were 22 females and 8 males, aged 46.10±13.86 years, with a course of 4.43± 3.81 years;in the control group, there were 24 females and 6 males, aged 41.07±12.43 years, with a course of 4.51 ± 5.01 years. There was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05)in gender, age, course of disease, headache score and TCM syndrome score(P>0.05)Headache score:after treatment, the scores and comprehensive scores of headache in the two groups decreased significantly(P<0.05).The improvement rate of headache comprehensive score, attack intensity, duration and accompanying symptoms in the experimental group was better than that in the control group(P<0.05).TCM syndrome score:after treatment, the scores and total scores of TCM syndrome in the experimental group and the control group were significantly lower than before treatment(P<0.05).In the aspect of improving degree, the improvement rate of the experimental group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).The clinical effect of migraine:after treatment,in the experimental group of 30 patients,4 cases recovered,8 cases showed significant effect,16 cases were effective,2 cases were invalid, the total effective rate was 93.33%;in the control group of 30 patients,2 cases recovered,2 cases showed significant effect,20 cases were effective,6 cases were invalid, the total effective rate was 80.00%.There was significant difference between the two groups by rank sum test(P=0.016<0.05),indicating that the clinical effect of the experimental group was significantly better than that of the control groupThe curative effect of traditional Chinese medicine on migraine:after treatment,in the experimental group of 30 patients,2 cases were cured,17 cases were effective,9 cases were effective,2 cases were invalid, the total effective rate was 93.33%;in the control group of 30 patients,1 case was cured,9 cases were effective,13 cases were effective,7 cases were invalid, the total effective rate was 76.67%.By the rank sum test,P=0.014<0.05,there is a significant difference, indicating that the therapeutic effect of the experimental group is significantly better than that of the control group.Baseline data:60 migraine patients were included in the study,30 in the experimental group and 30 in the control group. In the experimental group, there were 8 males and 22 females, aged 46.10±13.86 years, with a course of 4.43± 3.81 years;in the control group, there were 6 males and 24 females, aged 41.07 ± 12.43 years, with a course of 4.51± 5.01 years. There was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05)in gender, age, course of disease, headache score and TCM syndrome score, attack intensity, duration and accompanying symptoms in the experimental group was better than that in the control group(P<0.05).TCM syndrome score:after treatment, the scores and total scores of TCM syndrome in the experimental group and the control group were significantly lower than before treatment(P<0.05).In the aspect of improving degree, the improvement rate of the experimental group was invalid, the total effective rate was 80.00%.There was significant difference between the two groups by rank sum test(P=0.016<0.05),indicating that the clinical effect of the experimental group was significantly better than that of the control group. The syndrome effect of traditional Chinese medicine on migraine:after treatment,in the experimental group of 30 patients,2 cases were cured,17 cases were effective,9 cases were effective,2 cases were invalid, the total effective rate was 93.33%;in the control group of 30 patients,1 case was cured,9 cases were effective,13 cases were effective,7 cases were invalid, the total effective rate was 76.67%.By the rank sum test,P=0.014<0.05,there is a significant difference, indicating that TCM syndrome effect of the experimental group is significantly better than that of the control group.Conclusions(1)Acupoint Application Combined with Tianma Gouteng Decoction of traditional Chinese medicine and Tianma Gouteng Decoction alone have significant effect on migraine with hyperactivity of liver yang.(2)The experimental group was better than the control group in reducing the comprehensive score and improving the intensity, duration and accompanying symptoms.(3)The experimental group was significantly better than the control group in reducing the total score of TCM syndromes and improving head pain, irritability, restlessness of sleeping at night, insomnia and forgetfulness.(4)The total effective rate in the clinical efficacy and TCM syndromes of the experimental group was significantly higher than that of the control group.(5)Acupoint Application combined with Tianma gouteng Decoction of traditional Chinese medicine can significantly improve the clinical efficacy of migraine with hyperactivity of liver Yang, which is worthy of clinical application.
