Yangyinqingfei Soup Clinical Efficacy Of The Treatment Of Dry Eye Observation

Objective: To observe the efficacy of the Decoction of Yang Yin Qing Fei with functions of enriching Yin and moisturizing lung, removing heat to promote the salivation in treatment of dry eye.Methods: There are 60 patients with dry eye disease who were enrolled and treated in the affiliated hospital of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. They were randomized divided into 2 groups ,as 1: 1 propotional, the treated group of patients that used the Decoction of Yang Yin Qing Fei and Sodium Hyaluronate eye drop, the control group of patients that used Sodium Hyaluronate eye drop. Patients were treated one month in each group. Then evaluated and compared the ocular manifestation, results of Schirmer test and tear film breakup time, traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores before and after the treatment.Results: There was86.66 percent cases of improving ocular manifestation and 90 percent of increasing traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores in the treated group after treatment. After treatment the results of Schirmer test and tear film breakup time, traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores showed significant improvement in the two groups(P<0.05).The treated group statistically superior to the control group on the improvement of Schirmer test and tear film breakup time, traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores.Conclusion: The Decoction of Yang Yin Qing Fei combined with Sodium Hyaluronate eye drop can significant improvement the ocular manifestation , Schirmer test and tear film breakup time, traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores in treatment of dry eye.
