Baicalensis Gardenia Clinical Observation Of The Four Skin Drink The Treatment Of Rosacea

Objective: To study the efficacy and pharmacological mechanism of Qinzhisipi Dection in patients with rosacea.Methods: 63 patients with rosacea were divided into two groups randomly, experimental group and controlled group .Qinzhisipi Dictions was used in experimental group ,while Metronidazole was used in controlled group ,as well as observing two things, one was the change of papule, pustule, erythematous and telangietasis of the rosacea, the other was adverse reaction .Results: In experiment group which had 33 cases, clinical cure results had been achieved in 12cases, notable effective results in 11 cases and effective results in 7 cases, while noneffective results in 3 cases, the response rate was 69.7%. In the controlled group which included 30 cases , clinical cure results had been achieved in 5 cases, notable effective results in 10 cases ,effective results in 9 cases , and noneffective results in 6 cases, the response rate was 50.0%. There were considerable significant differences between the two groups in efficacy .2 cases with adverse effects had been found in experiment group and 5 cases had been found in controlled group. Experiment group was less than controlled group in adverse effects.Conclusion: using Qinzhisipi Dection had the more perceptible benefit and less adverse effects in patients with rosacea than Metronidazole. It suggested that Qinzhisipi dection maybe effective through many pharmacological mechanisms, such as anti-pathogen, depression of sebum secretion, immunity-regulating.
