ObjectiveThrough the investigation and study of clinical data and TCM syndrome data of patients with rosacea, the clinical characteristics, related factors and TCM syndromes of rosacea were analyzed,so as to improve the overall understanding of the disease and provide clinical basis and new ideas for clinical prevention and treatment of rosacea.MethodsIn this study,a clinical questionnaire survey was used to select 60 cases of rosacea cases and 60 control subjects who were admitted to the dermatology clinic of the Second People's Hospital of Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from 2019.01.01 to 2020.01.31.A special one-to-one clinical questionnaire survey was used to guide the subjects to fill in the "Rose Acne Clinical Questionnaire" and "Rose Acne TCM Syndrome Collection Form" on site.Enter all the collected information into Excel to establish a database, and use SPSS19.0software for relevant statistical analysis.Results1.Clinical characteristicsThe age of rosacea patients is mostly between 21 and 40 years old, with an average age of 36.08±11.25 years and an average course of 4.65±4.45 years. The male to female ratio is1:7.57,and the incidence of females is significantly higher than that of males. The number of patients with oily skin is the largest(36.7%).The most common clinical classifications are erythema telangiectasia(53.3%)and papule pustule(38.3%).The most common types of skin lesions are persistent erythema(95%),paroxysmal flushing(90%),and telangiectasia(81.7%).Patients' skin lesions were mainly distributed on the cheek(96.7%),zygomatic region(68.3%),nose and perinasal(63.3%),and most patients(93.3%)often involved 2 or more parts.Itching(90.5%)and burning(45.2%)are the most common symptoms of patients. The most common inducing and aggravating factors include high temperature and high fever(81.4%),sun exposure(79.7%),emotional and/or excitement(72.9%),and spicy diet(64.4%).2.Related factorsSingle factor logistic regression analysis found that sensitive skin, greasy diet, spicy diet, face washing with hot water, irritability, irritability, family history of rosacea and associated digestive symptoms are related to the incidence of rosacea;multivariate logistic regression analysis It was found that washing face with hot water, having a family history of rosacea, and accompanied by symptoms of digestive system discomfort are possible risk factors for rosacea.3.TCM syndrome analysisThe results of cluster analysis showed that the disease location of Rosa Rosa mainly involved lung, spleen, stomach and liver, and its pathological factors were mainly damp, heat, depression and blood stasis. The clinical syndrome types were mainly divided into damp heat accumulation syndrome, lung stomach heat accumulation syndrome, liver depression and fire elimination syndrome, heat toxin accumulation syndrome and blood stasis block syndrome.ConclusionRosacea is prone to middle-aged women, often accompanied by itching, burning and other skin discomfort symptoms.High temperature and heat, sun exposure, emotional excitement and spicy diet are the inducing and aggravating factors of the disease. The risk factors of rosacea are washing face with hot water, family history of rosacea and digestive system discomfort. The location of rosacea mainly involves lung, spleen, stomach and liver. Its pathological factors are mainly damp, heat, depression and blood stasis. The clinical syndromes are mainly divided into damp heat accumulation syndrome, lung stomach heat hyperactivity syndrome, liver depression and fire resolving syndrome, heat toxin accumulation syndrome and blood stasis block syndrome.
