| Objective: To approch the therapeutic effect of Jiangnizhiegao applied to ShenQue point on Intractable Hiccup (IH for short), And hope to provide reference for treating IH in clinic.Method: 62 IH patients selected according to the diagnosis criterion were randomly divided into two groups: the therapy group with 32 and the control group with 30. The patients in the control group were intramuscular injected with anisodamine (654-2) based on treating protopathy actively, the therapy group was added to apply Jiangnizhiegao to ShenQue point on the basis of the control group treatment. These indexes such as the total effective rate, the inhibiting IH time, the improvement condition of the clinical symptoms, noxious and side effects were compared respectively between the two groups.Results: All the 62 patients were included in the result analysis without any loss. (1) Comparison of total effective rate in two group: the therapy group was obviously higher than that of the control group, respectively 90.6% and 66.7% (P<0.01). (2) Comparison of inhibiting IH time in two group: the former group was markedly shorter than that of the latter group, respectively (11.8±2.3) hour and (37.5±2.1) hour (P<0.05). (3) After treatment, the symptoms including mental state, appetite and slumber showed remarkably difference between the two groups (P<0.05). And, to compared with those of pretherapy, the above mentioned symptoms were also improved obviously (P<0.01).Conclusion: Jiangnizhiegao applied to ShenQue point can strikingly inhibit IH, according to the therapeutical principle 'internal diseases external treatment'. This external treatment can not only shorten inhibiting IH time, but also abate adverse reaction on gastrointestinal tract owing to reducing spasmolysant dosages largely. Therefore, It's worth being generalized to use for many advantages such as good effectiveness, convenient usage, cheap price and easy to accept by patients. |
