Jiawei Yu Nvjian Clinical Observations, Treatment Of Type 2 Diabetes

Objective:By researching the use of Modified Yu Nv prescription with western medicine to treat Type 2 diabetes mellitus,try to observate the clinical efficacy of the united Chinese and western medicine,and explore how to treat Type 2 diabetes mellitus with an effective way of the united Chinese and Western medicine.Methods:64 patients already diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes mellitus were selected and randomly divided into two groups:the united Chinese and Western medicine treatment group(A)and western medicine control group(B),32 patients for each group.Group B were given sustained-release metformin tablets(0.5 g each time,three times daily,and even served 12 weeks).Group A were given Modified Yu Nv prescription with dialectically adding other herbs on the basis of group B.We observed on the symptoms and signs pre-treatment and post-treatment.Fasting blood-glucose,2 hours postprandial blood glucose,glycated hemoglobin,fasting serum insulin,two hours postprandial serum insulin,TC,TG,and HOMA-IR were measured to evaluate the effect of the united Chinese and Western medicine therapy.Results:Result of the study could be summarized as:1.Group A the total effective rates were 93.75%,while group B were 68.75%.The total therapeutic effect of group A was better than that of group B,between them there were significant differences(P＜0.05).2.Group A could improve the patients' clinical symptoms and signs,the effecs were better than group B,both with significant differences.(P＜0.05).3.In the lowing fasting glucose,2 hours postprandial blood glucose and glycated hemoglobin level,group A was better than group B with significant differences(P＜0.05).after treatment group compared,there was a significant difference(P＜0.05),there has been a significant difference in the total effect of the two groups hypoglycemic Comparison(P＜0.05).Serum TC, TG can be declined varing degrees in both groups.4.In improving islet function and reducing the secretion of insulin resistance,group A was better than group B,both with significant differences(P＜0.05).Conclusion:Modified Yu Nv prescription with western medicine in Treating Type 2 diabetes mellitus,can significantly relieve patients of various clinical signs and symptoms,improve carbohydrate, lipid metabolism,and other substances,improve islet function and reduce insulin resistance, thereby effectively delay the development of Type 2 diabetes mellitus and diabetic complications.Modified Yu Nv prescription is one of the effective ways for the treatment of Type 2 diabetes mellitus.
