| Objective:Lumbar spinal stenosis is a common cause of waist and lower limb pain for old people,which is also one of the reasons leads to motor dysfunction for old people,and will seriously affected the ability of work and quality of life.More seriously.They maybe leads to gatism or paralyzed,et al.Operation is still acknowledged as an effective means of treatment,however,it is not suitable for the old patients who are unbearing the surgery or can not afford the giant tuition.and the marjority of old people are more easy to accepet the non-surgery method,and they are more glad to cooperate treatment,which lays the fourdation for the treatment by traditional medicine.Therefore,it is significantly to designe a completely conservative treatment for Lumbar spinal stenosis.The purpose of our research is to search for a safe,convenient and consistent effective way for the this disease.We sum up the past experience that treat Lumbar spinal stenosis by the chinese medicine triple rule,and by comparing with the commom clinical observation,To determin the clinical effects and safety of the chinese medicine triple ruleMethods:All the cases are from Hubei Province ChineseMedicine Hospitals, since September 2005 to September 2007,according to the standard case into the case and exclusion criteria,select 104 cases of patients with spinal stenosis in random principle.The patients are randomly divided into the treatment group and control group,the use of Chinese medicine treatment group that Chinese medicine triple rule that is "gu bi tang", Chinese medicine Fumigation,practices massage treatment,four weeks for a course.control group use non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs nimesulide(trade names of limeisong)TPD Treatment Instrument and electro-traction massage bed,four weeks for a course.All cases were selected to the basic conditions of registration,then scored according to the patient's clinical symptoms and type of Chinese medicine syndrome, followed by the chemical and biological inspections.Patients have to be Treated for four weeks,which have a strict and regular follow-up review, after treatment,re-scored and the re-evaluated the clinical symptoms score and Evaluation,review liver and kidney function and biochemical indicators again.follow-up time from 8 to 24 months,records and compared the treatment group and control group patients with spinal stenosis symptoms The improvement of the situation,using data SPSS 13.0 statistical software for statistical analysis.Results:For the treatment group,the total efficiency is 86.67%,effective rate is 68.8%,the control group,the total efficiency is 77.78%,effective rate is 60.0%.there are significant difference between them,the effect of the treatment group is better than the control group.Efficacy of individual symptoms such as intermingl limp,waist pain,lower limb radioactive pain,the activities of the lumbar spine,skin feeling,decreased muscle strength have significant differences,That the treatment group in intermingl limp,waist pain,decreased feeling are more better than the control group.Before and after treatment the score of FIM and VAS comparison by twe group.the treatment group is more better than the control group.And the safety of medication,the treatment group also better than the control group.However,two groups of patients with drug compared onset time,the control group faster than the treatment group Conclusion:Chinese medicine triple rule can conspicuously improve the symptom of pain,limp,lower limb radioactive pain,and other typical symptoms for the "gan shen kui xu" type of lumbar spinal stenosis.The overall effect is better than commonly used conservative treatment,and it is more relatively safe and less side-effects,more acceptabled by patients. It is Worthy of applying in clinic.However,the number of cases in this group slightly less,There are some limitations reflect the accuracy and comprehensiveness of results to some exent. |
