Clinical Observation On Treating Lumbar Spinal Stenosis By MED Canal Decompression And Traditional Chinese Medicine Iontophoresis

Objective:To observe 30 case of Lumbar spinal stenosis disease treated with MED canal decompression and Traditional Chinese medicine iontophoresis,compared to the use of simple MED canal decompression.with a view to explore the better effective method of treatment with postoperative pain and functional recovery,improve outcomes of operation and to provide some clinical experience.Methods:60 cases were randomly divided into two groups.The treatment group was treated with MED canal decompression and Traditional Chinese medicine iontophoresis.The control group was treated with simpleMED canal decompression.Chinese medicine iontophoresiswas givenon both sides of the cave by ion import instrument on the third day after surgery in the treatment group,was given once a day,Treated for 30 ~ 45 minutes at a time,Treated for 10 days for a period of treatment,A total of a course of treatment.The change of symptoms and function was observed in the two groups before and after treatment 1 week,3 weeks,3 months in patients.The clinical effect was evaluated by pain VAS scores and JOA score.Results:The two groups of 60 cases were followed up.There was no statistical difference in baseline data such as age,course of diseases,segment,clinical symptoms,complicationsbetween two groups(P>0.05).1week after treatment,the JOA score respectively from(10.06±1.48)、(10.37±1.56)to(20.8±1.42)、(20.6±1.37),p-values were less than 0.05 statistically significant by comparison.1 week between two groups after treatment,the JOA score P>0.05,no significant difference by comparison.3week between two groups after treatment,the JOA score P<0.05,significant difference by comparison.3 months between two groups after treatment,the JOA score P<0.05,significant difference by comparison.Two groups were calculated according to the pre-treatment and 3 months after treatment,the JOA score of the treatment groups averageimprovement rate of 87.42±4.12%,the control groups averageimprovement rate of 84.81±3.29%,between two groups after treatment,the t=2.687,p=0.012,P<0.05,significant difference by comparison.1 week after treatment,the VASscore respectively from(8.10±0.80)、(7.97±0.76)to(4.80±0.87)、(4.87±1.07),p-values were less than 0.05 statistically significant by comparison.1 week between two groups after treatment,the VAS score P>0.05,no significant difference by comparison.3 week between two groups after treatment,the VAS score P<0.05,significant difference by comparison.3 months between two groups after treatment,the VAS score P<0.05,significant difference by comparison.The blood routine,Liver and kidney function and biochemical indexes was no obvious abnormalities3 weeks after treatment in the two groups.Conclusion:This study found that patients with lumbar spinal stenosis disease by intervertebral disc decompression surgery lens use dialectical TCM iontophoresis treatment can effectively improve the patients’ symptoms,function,early functional recovery in patients with relatively simple surgical treatment effect is good.The early clinical curative effect is better,it is a safe and effective method.Therefore it is worthy of clinical use.
