Purpose:Observe and compare the effects of acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine collapse therapy on lumbar spinal stenosis of Qixu Xueyu(????)alone, and compare the effect with acupuncture combined with traditional Chinese medicine collapse therapy to explore the relevant factors that affect the efficacy.Material and method:All cases were from 96 patients who were admitted to the Second Department of Orthopedics of the Inpatient Department of the Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2018 to August 2019.According to the order of the visits, they were randomly divided into 3 groups according to the random number table:32 cases in the acupuncture treatment group,33 cases in the Chinese medicine collapse treatment group, and 31 cases in the acupuncture combined collapse treatment group. They were treated once a day for two weeks.Observations were made at 4 time points before treatment, two weeks after treatment, one month follow-up and three months follow-up after treatment, and the waist pain VAS score and lumbar spine JOA assessment index were recorded. The data was used to verify the clinical efficacy of acupuncture combined with Chinese medicine collapse on lumbar spinal stenosis. All data were analyzed by SPSS 23.0software:measurement data were analyzed by t test or analysis of variance;chimeric test was used for comparison of count data.Rank data were tested by rank sum,and each data P<0.05was considered statistically significant.Results:1.The three therapies were compared after two weeks of treatment, one month and three months after the end of treatment with pre-treatment data, and there were statistical differences(P<0.05),and there were no safety issues.2.There was a statistically significant difference in VAS scores between the acupuncture treatment group and the Chinese medicine collapse treatment group at the end of 2 weeks oftreatment(P<0.05),and there was no statistical difference in the VAS and JOA scores of the two groups at the remaining time points(P>0.05).3.There was no statistical difference in JOA score between the treatment group and the acupuncture treatment group at the three-month follow-up after treatment(P>0.05),and the VAS and JOA scores of the two groups were statistically different at the remaining time points(P<0.05),there is always a statistical difference between the combined treatment group and the Chinese medicine collapse treatment group(P<0.05).conclusion:1.Acupuncture treatment,Chinese medicine collapse treatment, acupuncture combined with Chinese medicine collapse treatment are safe and effective.2.The effect of acupuncture treatment is similar to that of traditional Chinese medicine.3.Whether in terms of pain relief or improvement of patients'symptoms, the combined treatment is more effective and lasts longer than acupuncture alone or Chinese medicine collapse treatment.
