Object:To evaluate clinical effectiveness of therapy of constipation with applying selfprescriptedChinese medicine to the umbilicus.Methods:Sixty patients were divided randomly into the treatment group and the contrastgroup, thirty patients in the treatment group and thirty in the other. Patients in the treatmentgroup were treated with applying self-prescripted Chinese medicine to the umbilicus.Patientsin the contrasted group were treated with Macrogol 4000 powder for oral solution (FORLAX)simply. The clinical therapeutic curative effect was observed in one groups for fourteen days.Results:It was effective on both treatment group and contrast group in treating constipation.According to the data between treatment group and contrast group, there's no significantdifference of general effective rate between therapy-applied group and control group.Meanwhile, the treaty group is better than the contrasted one in the curative effect of treatingcomplication.Conclusion:there's no significant difference of general effective rate between the grouptreated with applying self-prescripted Chinese medicine to the umbilicus and the group treatedwith Macrogol 4000 powder for oral solution (FORLAX). But, the group treated with applyingself-prescripted Chinese medicine is better than the group treated with Macrogol 4000 powder fororal solution (FORLAX) in the curative effect of treating complication. |
