Care And Secondary School Students Creative Tendencies And Learning Style Research

Purposes:In order to make a suggestion for the development of the nursing education,we hope to get the results of the characteristics of creativities and the learning styles of the nursing students in secondary professional school.So there are three purposes in this research:(1) Get the results of the characteristics of creativities of the nursing students.(2) Get the results of the characteristics of the learning styles of the nursing students;(3) Based on these two results,we do a correlation analysis between the two,and get the specific learning style which can develop the creativity of the students.Objects:500 students of Yuncheng Health care professional school:(1) The 200 students from grade one,whose ages between 14-16.(2) The 200 students from grade one,whose ages between 15-18.(3) The 100 students from grade one,whose ages between 16-19.The average age of the students is 17,all of them are female.Methods:The study adopts two methods:survey investigation and statistic analysis.(1) Surveys:"Lim Andean tendency of creativity"revised by Hsing Taiwan and Wang Mu-rong who based on the combination of creativity test prepared by F.E.Williams and Kolb's "Learning Styles Inventory" revised by Xuqiumei and Chang Ming-hui.(2) Statistic analysis:statistics description,comparison of the proportion of the different grades, analysis of the typical relationship.Results:(1),The creativity of the nursing students of second professional school is at a middle level,there is a significant statistical difference of the creativity of the students at three grades,which shows a decreasing trend with the increasing of the grades.(2),For the students in secondary professional school,the proportion of the number of the divergers is the largest (23%),while that of the assimilators is the smallest(18%);There is no significant statistical differernce of learning styles of the nursing students at three grades;The average grades of learning style is between 45%-60%,which is not ripe.(3),For the correlation between the creativity and the learning styles of the nursing students,the practice and experimentation which is one of the components of the learning styles has a positive correlation with the creativity.Conclusion:(1),In nursing education,we should pay attention to strength the creativity personality of the nursing students.(2),In order to improve the quality of the nursing education,the learning styles of the students should be concerned.(3),In order to improve the innovative capability of the nursing students,the capability of practice and experimentation should be further strengthened.
