| OBJECTIVETo observe the curative effect and saftly of Baoshen' ye to treat chronic renal failure (CRF) (insufficiency type of kidney-Yang,insufficiency type of kidney-Yin,insufficiency type of kidney Yin-Yang)by iontophoresis, and search an easy economy safe effective method in treating CRF.METHODSAll 80 patients were randomly divided into two groups : therapeuticgroupofBaoshen' yeiontophoresis(GroupA, n=40),Niaoduqing grains control group(GroupB, n=40).According to requirement of disease two groups were treated with routine medicine. GroupA took Baoshen' ye iontophoresis, 20min each time, every 3days. GroupB took Niaoduqing grains three timesdaily, 10g each time at 8,14,20 o' clock. The therapeutic period of two groups was two monthes. Before and after treatments checked the Blood-Rt,Urine-Rt,Urine protein quantity of 24hours(24hupq),Albandrenal function,etc, tooknotes symptoms of the patients. Then observing the difference of both curative and safe indexes between before and after treatments.RESULTS1. The total effective rate of groupA was 80.0% and that of groupB was 72.5%.There was no significant difference between groupA and groupB(P>0.05),which indicated that the total effect of groupA was close to that of groupB, the effect of Baoshen'ye treats CRF by iontophoresis was fairly.2. There was significant difference between before and after treatments in the total scores of two groups (P<0.01),and there was no significant score difference between groupA and groupB(P>0. 05),which indicated that two groups could improve the symptoms, and groupA was close to groupB. 3. The total effective rate on insufficiency type of kidney-Yang and insufficiency type of kidney Yin-Yang of groupA was 92.3% and 83.3%,that of groupB was 64.3% and 76.9%. There was significant difference between groupA and groupB(p<0.05),which indicated that the effect on insufficiency type of kidney-Yang and insufficiency type of kidney Yin-Yang of groupA was better than that of groupB. The total effective rate on insufficiency type of kidney-Yin of group A was 66.7%,that of group B was 76.9% There was significant difference between group A and group B(p<0.05),which indicated that the effect on insufficiency type of kidney-Yin of groupB was better than that of groupA.4. Two groups could decrease 24hupq, increase Alb and Hb .The effect of groupA was close to that of groupB.5. Two groups could decrease BUN and Scr, increase Ccr. The effect of groupA was close to that of groupB.6. There was no abnormality between before and after treatments among two groups which indicated that Baoshen' ye iontophoresis was a safe, effect, no side effect and no toxicity treatment method for CRF.CONCLUSIONThe clinical observation indicated that Baoshen' ye iontophoresis had good effect on CRF(insufficiency type of kidney-Yang,insufficiency type of kidney-Yin, insufficiency type of kidney Yin-Yang).It could efficiently improve the symptoms, decrease 24hupq, increase Alb and Hb, improve renal function, retard the rate of progress of CRF. And there was no any side effect of Baoshen' ye. Baoshen' ye iontophores is was an effective convenient and safe treatment method for CRF. |
