Integrative Medicine Clinical Study Of Oral And Dog Day The Acupoint Topical Treatment Of Chronic Renal Failure

OBJECTIVE:To observe the curative effect and safty of Baoshen'gao to chronic renal failure (CRF)(insufficiency type of kidney-Yang,insufficiency type kidney-Yin, insufficiency type of Yin-Yang)by point application in dog-days,and search an easy economy safy effective method in treating CRF.METHODS :All 135 patients from the HuBei Provincial TCM Hospital conforming to the diagnostic standard,were randomly divided into three groups:thrapeutic group of point application in dog-days and Niaoduqing grains (Group A,n=45),control group of point application not in dog-days and Niaoduqing grains (Group B,n=45),Niaoduqing grains control group(Group C,n=45).According to the requirement of disease three groups were treated with medicine.Group A took Baoshen'gao point appilication in dog-days,four to six hours each time,every ten days.Group B took Baoshen'gao point appilication not in dog-days,four to six hours each time,every ten days. Group C took Niaoduqing grains four times daily ,5g each time at 6,12,18 o'clock,10g at 22 o'clock.The therapeutic period was one month. Observeing the difficience of both curative and safe indexes between before and after treatment.RESULTS:1 The total effective rate of groupA,group B,group C was 77.78%,71.11% and 68.89% respectively.There was significant diffierence between group A and group B. C ( P<0.05 ) ,there was no significant difference between group B and C(P>0.05 ) ,which indicated that the total effect of group A was better than that of group B and C.2 There was significant diffierence between before and after treatment in the total scores of all three groups (P<0.05 ) ,and there was significant scores difference between group A and group B, C (P<0.05) ,but there was no significant scores diffierence between group B and group C( P>0.05 ), which indicated that three groups could improve the symptoms,and group A had better effect than group B and group C.3 There was significant diffierence of curative effect no insufficiency type of kidney-Yang among three groups (P<0.05 ) , which indicated that group A had better effect on insufficiency type of kidney-Yang than group B and group C.4 Group A could decrease urinary protein,increase ALB and Hb.The effect of group A was better than that of group B and group C ( P<0.05 ) .5 Group A could decrease BUN and Scr,increase Ccr.The effect of group A was better than that of group B and group C (P<0.05 ) .
