Objective:To observe yanxuesan in different guantity on effect of absorbingvitreous hemorrhage and interleukin-1β(IL-1β),interleukin-6 (IL-6),basic fibrolast growthfactor (bFGF) in exterior vitreous hemorrhage, andto study yanxuesan' promotion ofabsorbing hemorrhage and prevention andcure effect on PVR, and all of the experiment based on the early study andin a morden way.Methods:4of 24 rabbits(8 eyes) were chosed randomly, which were set up ascontrol group (E group). The other 20 ones (40 eyes) were devided into A,B,C,D after created vitreous hemorrhage according to Regnalt. A,B,C wasrespectively low quantity group,medium quantity group and high quantitygroup. D was model group. All rabbits were treated after created 24 hours.A,B,C were treated drug in 2.0g\kg, 4.0g\kg, 8.0g\kg respectively, D,E were treated distilled water in 4.0ml\kg. All were one every day. Observethe condition of vitreous hemorrhage 24 hours after model-created, at thethird week and the sixth week respectively with derect ophthalmoscope andwrite down result according to Forrester after treated dgrug, moreoverexamine guantity of IL-1β,IL-6,bFGF in vitreous at the sixth week withELISA. Observe the pathology sections with microscope after the eyeball hadbeen fixed by 10% glutaral,dehydration by alcohol,stuff by paraffin waxand cut.Results:1. Effect on vitreous hemorrhage:①24 hours after moldel created, there were the most significiantdifference (P<0.01) between control group and model created groups, there were no significiant difference (P>0.05) among model created groups.②Atthe third week, the hemorrhage were eliminated in the yanxuesan treatedgroup, there were the significiant difference between model created groupsand high,medium group (P<0.05);③at the sixth week, there were the mostsignificiant difference model created groups and high,medium group(P<0.01),it indicated that yanxuesan can eliminate hemorrhage, and theeffect have some relative with guantity.2. Restraining IL-1β,IL-6,bFGF:At the sixth week, there were no significiant difference between highgroup and control group (P>0.05) in Ih-1βand bFGF, which indicate thathigh group had the strong effect; there were no significiant differencebetween low group and model group in Ih-1β,Ih-6 and bFGF, which indicatethat low group had little effect on restrainingcell increase; among drugtreated group,there are the most significiant difference between high,medium group and low group (P<0.01), and between high group and medium group,there was the most different in Ih-6 and bFGF, which indicated that the moreguantity and the strong effect.Conclusions:yanxuesan can help eliminating hemorrhage; prevent PVR developingthough restraining IL-1β,IL-6 and bFGF and hold ing up the effect on cellmoving and increasing. All the effect probably have some synchronousrelationship with guantity.
