Jiaji Literature

Objective:Through document collation about Jia ji acupoint, to research its origin and development, location, denomination, indication, puncture and moxibustion, rules of selecting acupoints, mechanism of action and its clinical appliance, to analyze and overview all of this and bring forward own opinion, to afford scientific foundation for clinical application and theoretical research.Method:Giving priority to theoretical research, to use inductive and logical methods, carrying through all of the pertinent literature about acupuncture and moxibustion over the years through manual searching in our own library, and getting across computer to retrieve qinghuatongfang-databases, to statistic and analyze all of the literature datum about Jiaji acupoints between 1979 and 2007, concluding, colligating and arranging its origin and development, location, denomination, indication, puncture and moxibustion methods, rules of selecting acupoints, mechanism of action, clinical application and so on, to put forward own views.Results:1. About 30 Jiaji acupoints correlated books were found through manual searching, to eliminate the duplicated and inadequate parts, about 20 books can be cited to introduce related Jiaji acupoints contents.2. About 380 pieces of writing were retrieved from among qinghuatongfang-databases, 70 pieces of related literature can be cited.3. To complete the part of literature arrangement about Jiaji acupoints and carrying through corresponding generalization.Conclusion:1. The origin of Jiaji acupoints stem from Neijing first, and it can be able to be used extensively in clinic because of Huatuo. Doctors through the ages raised theirs different opinions at the base of their clinical experience. Until resent period Mr Cheng-Dan-an put forward the appellation of Huatuo Jiaji acupoints at the first time and determined its location and number, afterwards it was used as national standard to continue to use until now.2. Jiaji is the name of a set of acupoints, there is not unified denomination criterion about individual acupoint. For the moment, it is generally recognized that according to the English first letter of anatomical centrums such as cervix, thoracic, loin and sacral vertebrae and the centrums ordinal to denominate every Jiaji acupoint.3. Now all of the puncture and moxibustion method in common use can be suitable for Jiaji acupoints.4. At the base of Chinese medicine syndrome differ treatment principia, binding Zangfu-meridians and neural anatomize theoretics to determine the rules of selecting acupoints about Jiaji.5. According to Zangfu-meridians theoretic, bioholography and neuroanatomy theoretic, elaborating indication range and mechanism of action in clinical application about Jiaji acupoints; at the same time, through contemporary experimental instrumentality such as physiology and biochemistry detection to research the mechanism of action from the biological angle, approved Jiaji acupoints can be used to cure clinical diseases and has pretty therapeutic.6. To statistic and analyze clinical related data, we found the report about using Jiaji to cure spine and ambience organizational lesion was much more, and it can be used in internal medicine, chirurgery, gynecology and pediatric. The unique results must be bring into play in clinic.
