Endoscopic Sinus Surgery Chrysanthemum Through St. Tang Efficacy Of Flushing The Nasal Cavity

Objection:To observe the clinic effect of Juhuatongsheng decoctionswilling the nasal cavity to the chronic sinusitis and nasalpolyps in typeⅡpatients after their therapy of FESS, and toprobe the mechanism of treating chronic sinusitis.Methods:After the FESS, all the one hundred and fifty seven thechronic sinusitis and nasal polyps in typeⅡcases had beenrandomly classed two groups: the test group and the controlledgroup, the test group contains 79 patients. The patients of thetest group had given the Juhuatongsheng decoction. Thecontrolled group contains 78 patients, While the patients of thecontrolled group had given the same treatment with GentamycinSulfate Injection, Dexamethasone Sodium Phosphate Injection and0.9%NS. Our treatment had lasted for sixty days and observed thepatients changes of their symptoms, signs and the total curativeeffect.Results:The results show that both the test group and the controlledgroup have definite infection after the FESS. The total curativeeffect, hyposmia and epithelization in operative sinus cavityof the two groups have dominant difference after thirty days.The test group is better than the controlled group.Conclusion:The test group can obviously improve the symptoms and signsof CS patients. This study shows that our Chinese medicine andherbs have many superiority in this disease.
