.125 Cases Of Hiv / Aids Patients With Pulse Cd4 + T Cell Count

1 ObjectiveThrough the comparative study of 125 HIV/AIDS patients and health adult about their pulse tracings map (include principal parameter,pulses location,pulses force,pulses tendency,pulses shape,pulse rate,rhythm and so on), and the approach about the relationship between CD4+T lymphocyte count of HIV/AIDS patients and the characteristics of their pulse tracings maps,for illuminating the characteristics of common pulse tracings of HIV/AIDS patients who are infected by providing themselves'blood for money and the relationships between the pulse tracings and the progression of pathogenetic condition which reflected by CD4+T lymphocyte count,then, providing objective basis about the TCM dialectical cure and the judgement of effect of AIDS.2 Subjects and methodsSubjects 125 HIV/AIDS patient(called Positive Group for short)all comes from country areas of zhumadian city and nanyang city of henan province, the route of infection is providing themselves'blood for money,and never take any drugs for cure AIDS. 33 health persons (called Control Group for short)all are students who comes from Peking university of chinese medicine. Methods1. We collect the pulse tracings of the guan pulse of the patients'right hands through the ZM-III type intelligence electro-pulsograph, which analyze and inference the data of the location,the force,the tendency,the shape,the rate,the rhythm and so on to constructing the tracings map and various kinds of parameter information, then we deposit the collected data to the computer.2. Through the comparative study of the Positive Group and the Control Group about the relevant data, we uncover the characteristics of the pulse tracings of the Positive Group and the patho- characteristics of the infected patients.3. Depend on CD4+ T lymphocyte count≤200/mm3,200-500/mm3 and≥500/mm3HIV, HIV+ group are divided to three groups(called A group,B group and C group respectivly for short),then ,their pulse tracings data are analysised respectively, we obtain the changed characteristics and the difference of the pulse tracings when under different immune function. Then we try to explain the mechanism through the pulse diagnosis.4. The statistical analysis are adopted t tests, chi square test and correlation analysis of SPSS11.0 software.3 Results3.1 The detection rate of sunken pulse are significantly higher in the HIV+ group than in the HIV- group(P<0.01);and the similar thing can be found when comes to the weak pulses (P<0.05)。The detection rate of frequent pulse and wiry pulse are significantly higher in the HIV+ group than in the HIV- group(P<0.05:h1,As are shrinked ;w2 are broaden;h3/h1,w1/t,w2/t all are waxed).So,comparing with the HIV- patients,the descented common pulse tracings of HIV/AIDS patients who infected by providing themselves'blood for money is wiry pulse(the most,57.6%),sunken pulse,weak type pulse,frequent pulse,evenness wiry,slippery pulse,excessive pulse,evenness pulse,smooth pulse,irregularly pulse,slow pulse,abrupt pulse,tense pulse,the pulses location is sinking,the pulses force most is weak,the pulses tendency is low, evenness and weak,the pulse rate is fate,the rhythm is abrupt or irregular.3.2 The detection rates of the pulse tracings map parameters that the pulses location is float,the pulses force is middling,the pulses tendency is normal, the pulse rate is mild,the rhythm is normal are higher among the patients whose CD4+ T lymphocyte count above 500/mm3 than others. The detection rates of the pulse tracings map parameters that the pulses location is sinking,the pulses force is weak,the pulses tendency is low, evenness and weak,the rhythm is abrupt or irregular are higher among the patients whose CD4+ T lymphocyte count follow 200/mm3 than others. There are significantly difference between the patients whose CD4+T lymphocyte count followed 200/mm3 and CD4+T lymphocyte count above 500/mm3(P<0.05):h1,h3,As all are shrinked;w1/t,w2/t all are waxed. 3.3 There are significantly correlations between the pulse tracings map parameters which included h3,h4,As,h3/h1,w1/t and CD4+T lymphocyte count(P<0.05) in the HIV+ group, and the correlation coefficients are 0.680,0.707,0.706,0.716,0.602 respectivly. And ,the correlation which between h4 and CD4+T lymphocyte count is the most closed in all the correlations.4 Conclusions4.1 The analysis of pulse tracings of 125 HIV/AIDS patients prompted that,the pathological changes of AIDS mainly perform deficiency,including excess and deficiency and the characteristic of pathogenesis are combined of depressed vital energy,pathogenic damp,sputum and stagnated blood. 4.2 Following the decrease of the CD4+T lymphocyte count,the pulse tracings of 125 HIV/AIDS patients have changed:the Ejection Function of left ventricle is descended and the Stroke Volume is decreased. Following the decrease of the immune function,it indicated that the entrails and QI-blood is weak ,the spleen and renal is wane and the pathogenetic condition is danger in the advanced stage patients.4.3 There are significantly correlations between the principal pulse tracings map parameters and CD4+T lymphocyte count in the HIV+ patients.And following the changing of the CD4+T lymphocyte count,the pulse tracings map parameters is changed.The pulse tracings map of HIV+ patients is the indolenct, objectivity index of detecting the pathogenetic condition of AIDS and judging of effect of TCM dialectical cure.
