Because it is difficult to discriminate deficiency of spleen yin clinically, there is not deficiency of spleen yin in the Textbook of National Traditional Chinese Medicine for Institutions of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Higher Learning in a period.Since the early 1980s,one writer after another has been beginning to write to discuss spleen yin and deficiency of spleen yin,to which close attentions have been paid.In a short span of 25 years from 1981 to 2006, although some achievements have been acquired,there is much deficiency in the spleen yin and deficiency of spleen yin.For example,the concept of spleen yin has been elucidated precisely.There are quite a few differences on the clinical manifestation, diagnostic criteria, therapy and Chinese herb of deficiency of spleen yin and discriminations of deficiency of spleen yin and deficiency of stomach yin.So,this article will discuss a series of problems so as to provide some proofs to study spleen yin and deficiency of spleen yin further.Firstly,ascertain the origin and development of spleen yin theory by arranging Traditional Chinese Medicine literature,Traditional Chinese medical scientists'academic thinkings and history of Traditional Chinese Medicine.Secondly,on the basis of accurately and profoundly understanding academic thinkings of Traditional Chinese medical scientists'representatives and their influence or relationship, explain the connotation of spleen yin with methods of literature and theory thinking.Finally,explain physiologic functions of spleen yin and their important roles in the vital movement of body.Discuss etiopathogenisis and pathogenesis, clinical manifestation, diagnostic criteria, therapy and Chinese herb of deficiency of spleen yin and discriminations of deficiency of spleen yin and deficiency of stomach yin so as to provide some suggestions during diagnosing and curing deficiency of spleen yin. |
