With the development of people'life in our country, there was an obvious ascending trend in the incidence of HLP .It has been evidented that HLP is one of the important dangerous factors during the formation of AS,by a great deal clinical epidemiology research, clinical and experimental study, both of which resulted in the heart and(or) brain diseases. What is more, HLP is related with some other diseases, such as fatty liver, hypertension, diabetes etc. Therefore, how to control and prevent the disorder of blood lipid is one of the important subjects to be resolved. As clinical and experimental research indicating, acupuncture has advantage of therapy for hyperlipemia, and hand-acupuncture and electro-acupuncture have been applicated. This study is aimed to observe the different regulative effects on blood lipids and other indexes of hyperlipemia rat model by hand-acupuncture and electro-acupuncture Fenglong point, from two aspects: literature summary and laboratory experiments.First Section: literature SummaryThe literature summary reviewed the achievements on pathogenesis of HLP with oriental and west medicine. It recovered not only the acupuncture clinical and experimental research on HLP but also the study on the different from hand-acupuncture and electric-acupuncture.Second Section: laboratory experimentsObjective: To observe the different regulative effects on blood lipids and other indexes of hyperlipemia rat model by hand-acupuncture and electro-acupuncture Fenglong point. Methods: The model was fed with high fat diet. 40 SD rats were randomly divided into 4 groups with 10 rats in each group: blank control group, model group, hand-acupuncture group and electro-acupuncture group. Rats in the blank control group were fed with basic diet everyday, while the rest groups were fed with high fat diet everyday. After two weeks, blood samples were taken by cutting off the tails of the rats for test of blood lipids. After that, the rats in the hand-acupuncture and electro-acupuncture groups were treated with hand-acupuncture and electro-acupuncture respectively for 5 weeks. the rats in electric acupuncture treated with 50Hz,20min,twice per week,1mA while the rats in the hand-acupuncture with 20min. The rats in blank control group and model group were treated at the same time, no acupuncture. After 5weeks treatment all the rats were killed to to draw the materials. Results:1. the effect of hand-acupuncture and electro-acupuncture on blood fatsAfter 5 weeks of treatment, in hand-acupuncture group the TC & TG were obviously lower while HDL-C were higher than that of prior treatment, and the change was more remarkable than model group (P<0.05). The LDL–C were obviously lower in hand-acupuncture group than that in blank control group. In electro-acupuncture group, TC & TG descended more obviously than that of prior treatment, and the descendent degree was more remarkable than model group(P<0.05).The HDL-C were obviously higher in hand-acupuncture group than in electro-acupuncture group(P<0.05).2. the effect of hand-acupuncture and electro-acupuncture on hemolipase and Liver functionThe activity of LPL&HL is higher in hand-acupuncture group and electro-acupuncture group than in the model group(P<0.01).3. the effect of hand-acupuncture and electro-acupuncture on SOD&MDA in lung, liver, spleen and pancreas of rats with hyperlipoidemia.SOD in spleen and lung are higher in hand-acupuncture group and electro-acupuncture group than in the model group(P<0.01). MDA in lung are lower in hand-acupuncture group and electro-acupuncture group than in the model group(P<0.05,P<0.01). MDA in pancreas are higher in hand-acupuncture group than in the model group(P<0.01).4. the effects of hand-acupuncture and electro-acupuncture on TXB2,6-Keto- PGF1α in blood plasma and the cardiac muscle of rats with hyperlipoidemia. In the cardiac muscle, TXB2 is lower in electro-acupuncture group than in the model group(P<0.05),and 6-Keto- PGF1α is lower in the model group than in the blank control group. In blood plasma, TXB2 and 6-Keto- PGF1α are higher in the model group than in the blank control group, and TXB2 is lower in hand-acupuncture group and electro-acupuncture group than in the model group(P<0.01). Hand-acupuncture group and electro-acupuncture group are different in TXB2 .Conclusion:1. Electro-acupuncture at Fenglong point can descend TC in hyperlipemia rat model. Hand-acupuncture not only decreases TC & TG&LDL-C, but also increases HDL-C in hyperlipemia rat model and has better regulative effects on HDL-C than electro-acupuncture. Experimental results show that hand-acupuncture has more extensive effects on regulating the indices of blood lipids than electro-acupuncture.2. Hand-acupuncture and electro-acupuncture enhanced the activity of LPL&HL, however, there was different on this aspect. Hand-acupuncture and electro-acupuncture can improve the function of the liver lipocyte. Hand-acupuncture has more advantages than electro-acupuncture.3. Hand-acupuncture and electro-acupuncture can influenc the SOD and MDA especially with that in the lung and the spleen. At this aspect, electro-acupuncture had more advantages than hand-acupuncture.4. Hand-acupuncture can decrease TXB2 in blood plasma, while electro-acupuncture decreasing TXB2 in blood plasma and the cardiac muscle. And the effect of electro-acupuncture on TXB2 was better than hand-acupuncture in the cardiac muscle.
