| Atopic dermatitis is a common inflammatory skin disease which belongs along with allergic asthma and allergic rhinitis , to the group of atopic diseases .It is a chronic, elapsing cutaneous disease with typical cellular and humoral immunologic abnormalities. Atopic dermatitis typically begins in childhood and can often persist through adolescence into adulthood .A number of immunological abnormalities have been noted in patients with atopic dermatitis . Although great strides have been made in understanding the causes, the complex pathophysiology of atopic dermatitis is still not completely understood . Most notably , patients with atopic dermatitis often have an elevation of serum immunoglobulin(Ig)E levels , abnormal cellular immunity. At present the treatment of AD focused on anti-histamine and corticosteroid . so the side-effect is often observed , the curative effect is not satisfied , too . we carried though the clinical studies on the therapy of JIANPIHUASHI prescription to enfant atopic dermatitis, observed the change of the SASSAD integral, VAS integral, IgE, EOS in the treatment group, the Western medicine group and the vacant group and made comparison.The result indicate that SASSAD integral, VAS integral, IgE, EOS declined distinctly after 1 period of treatment and 3 period of treatment by the JIANPIHUASHI prescription. Compared to the Western medicine group, SASSAD integral have difference after 1 period of treatment and 3 period of treatment, VAS integral and IgE have no difference after 1 period of treatment, but there is marked difference after 3 period of treatment, and no difference in EOS. Compared to the vacant group, all item have remarkable differences after 1 period of treatment and 3 period of treatment. All can predicted that the JIANPIHUASHI prescription precede to Western medicine, and is a preferable way in the treatment to AD. The mechanism maybe lies in anti-inflammation, bacterium repression and immune modulation. |
