Topical steroid, oral antihistamine)History:Family often has asthma, allergic rhinitis and eczema, The IgE level goes up in the serum, immune abnormal. Treat Ad currently the sufferer is corticosteroid drug and easily appear side effect and not satisfied. Following the observation of substantial benefit in patient:receiving oral treatment with traditional Chinese medicine. We undertook a control group, cross-over design study to assess the efficacy, safety of a specific prescription formulated for widespread, non-exudative atopic dermatitis.Method:Atopic dermatitis was randomized into two groups:62 patient were randomized into A (XIAO-FENG-SAAN) treatment group (34) and B given oral loratadine control group (28). Received 4 weeks treatment. After observed treatment for 12 weeks. With SAASSAD to assess the efficacy.Result:There are 62 patients finished the study completely. Take the patient whom XIAO-FENG-SAAN. The cure rate reaches to 64.71%, the total effective rate 97.05% after treatment 4 weeks that the scores of SASSAD is decreased for percentage 44.01+-43.71 and obviously raise(p<0.01). Its clinical cure rate is obviously higher than the control group (loratadine). P<0.05. XIAO-FENG-SAAN is effective and safe.Significance:Clinical research confirmed that the efficacy of XIAO-FENG-SAAN in AD. Its effect mechanism is caused by anti-inflammation and inhibition bacterial. adjust immunity etc. The XIAO-FENG-SAAN therapy maybe an another kind of treatment for severe refractory, extensive, non-exudative atopic dermatitis. This study built up the specific medical system of Chinese, combined traditional and modern medicine and set up the model for scientification of traditional Chinese medicine. |
