Advocacy Xiefei Drink Clinical Studies, Treatment Of Chronic Heart Failure

Objective: To investigate the clinical effect and safety of "Xuan Dao Xie Fei Yin (XDXFY) "on the treatment of chronic heart failure (CHF) of syndrome of triple burner obstruction, phlegm blood stasis and fluid-retention stagnation .To explore the effective means on the treatment of CHF by combining Tradition Chinese Medicine (TCM) and western medicine . To prove the objectivity of CHF of syndrome of triple burner obstruction, phlegm blood stasis and fluid-retention stagnation.Methods:1. treatment methods: 96 patients with CHF of syndrome of triple burner obstruction, phlegm blood stasis and fluid-retention stagnation were randomly divided into two groups: Xuan Dao Xie Fei Yin treatment group(group A) and western medicine control group(group B), 48 cases in both groups. Group B was given westen medicine standard treatment scheme: standard used of Diuretic, ACEI, Digitalis— Hydrochlorothiazide 12.5~25mg per time, 1~3 times per day; Spironolactone 20 ~40mg per time, 1~3 times per day; Benazepril 5~10mg per time, 1~2 times per day ; Digoxin 0.125~0.25mg per time, one time per day. In emergency, permited to use of Furosemide Injection, Lanatoside C Injection, Phentolamine Injection, Isosorbide Mononitrate Injection, etc. as well as other pertinence and backup treatment were used . Group A was given Xuan Dao Xie Fei Yin (XDXFY) prescription (composed of Semen descurainiae,Cortex mori., Semen armeniacae amarum, Cortex magnoliae officinalis, Pericarpium citri reticulatae, Semen raphani, Rhizoma alismatis, Polyporus, Caulis akebiae, Radix angelicae sinensis) on the base of guoup B.2.Observation methods: The course was 8 weeks. All selected cases demanded to examine the blood routine, urine routine, stool routine, blood biochemistry examine (kidney function, liver function, blood sugar, blood- lipid, electrolyte ) , electrocardiogram (ECG), Chest X-ray, ultrasonic echocardiography (left ventricular eject fraction (LVEF), fractional shortening (FS), left ventricular end-diastolic volume (LVEDV) , left ventricular end-systolic volume (LVESV) 〕, 6 minute walking test (6-MWT) ,and fill in knowing agreement note and The Minnesota living with heart failure questionnaire (MLHFQ) .In the course of treatment, to record the correlative TCM symptoms every one week such as gasp, abdominal distension, edema, suffocation, heart-throb, cyanopathy, fatigue,...
