A Clinical Study On Heart Failure Medicament To Treat Chronic Heart Failure With Randomized And Double-blind Controlled Method

Ob j ec t i ve:To assess the effectiveness and safety of using of Heart Failure Medicament to treat Chronic Heart failure with randomized and double-blind controlled clinical trial.CHF can be typed to be many pattern of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) syndrome.Here we investigated the syndrome of Qi-deficiency blood stasis and water retention.Method:We selected30CHF patients accordingly, divide these into two groups.30ones are contrast group (single western medicine therapy with placebo) and30cases are treatment group(conventional western medicine therapy integrated with Heart Failure Medicament). A period of treatment is8weeks. We assess heart function classifications Lee’S heart failure integral6minutes walk test(6MWT) and symptom in TCM and observe the side-effects in both groups before and2-weeks、4-weeks、8-weeks during the treatment.Results1. Effectiveness assessment:30patients were enrolled in this clinical trial; Treatment team(15patients use the "Heart Failure Medicament" and the common therapy. Compared team(15patients) use the common therapy and placebo. Result:1. Both groups have the same effect in the elevation of heart function.(p>0.05)2. There is a significant (P<0.05) difference in the total effectiveness ratio assessed by syndrome and symptom in TCM between treatment group (83.27%) and control group (39.06%)。2. Safety assessments:there was no obvious abnormality in both groups safety detection during the clinical study; also no side-effects produced by the treatment.Conclusion:Heart Failure Medicament can improve those patients’living standards assessed by the rating scale of syndrom and symptom in TCM; Remarkably improve syndrom and symptom of palpitation、Qi-deficiency and dropsy。...
